It was a hassle to wait for the food and it was Fraying is stopped well by this tool
3/5

This usually takes an hour or so for it to dry completely, but I usually leave it alone for a day to ensure it is completely dry. The only con is that you have to wait seven days After using this antifray, you must wait 10 days before washing whatever it was you used it The update for 6/6/20 is as follows Now, I do not recommend it at all. My business is making and selling a lot of masks. In place of overcasting, I used it on a cotton that was fraying to save time. I found that this did exactly the opposite. The problem is that it takes When the glue has dried, it is somewhat tacky and will catch on the feed dogs of my sewing machine. It is doable to use on the end of a ribbon. After these masks are clean, I have to wait for a week for them to dry. That's a pain in the rear. My intentions are not to purchase or use this brand of no fray glue in the future. Using Dritz fray check is a good idea You pay more for less, but you only have to wait 15 minutes This product will dry in 30 minutes, soaks into the material, and will not leave marks on it.

The fray check is not as good as that of Dritz
3/5

To keep fabrics from fraying, this product is too thick, just like paste. It remains on the surface and does not soak into the fabric threads the way it needs to. Do not know what I will do with the remainder of the 2 ounce Perhaps you can use it to glue appliques?.

The Dritz Fray Check can NOT be substituted for this
3/5

This is yet another junk product from Alene's that's just like all the rest of them, which are just versions of Elmer's white glue at a jacked up price. Really horrible!.

Worked for me
5/5

needed something to keep the ends of the gimp from fraying, so I adhered it to a jacket. Having seen an ad for it, I took action and bought Before and after pictures are shown here. The first picture shows how the fray check goes on like a thick bead of glue, and it looks white I wasn't certain if this was going to be a good solution, but the second picture shows how clear it becomes when it dries. Although I haven't washed the jacket, which is not what usually happens when one wears business casual clothes, I did wipe at it with a damp cloth, and the sealant was not removed.

In addition to Elmer's White Glue, you may also use glue sticks The glue from Aleens's (available at Costco) boasts the same effectiveness as the bsa
3/5

I have used all of them and they are all The one here is NOT the one for you. This product was expected to be more like Dritz Fray Check, which is clear and can be applied easily with no problems to a raw edge of fabric. White glue can be applied to a raw edge to seal it. Imagining having to spread it with your fingers because it comes out in clumps. It might be better to use Elmer's White Glue rather than this stuff, because Elmer's comes out of the bottle in a controlled way. As stated, this stuff claims to be a "permanent fabric adhesive". From what I can tell, it appears to be true, although I haven't went through a wash and dry cycle yet.

I like it a lot
5/5

I had ripped a hole in my cotton quilt about 1/4" in diameter (from my cat's claws) and it was fraying. Then I applied a little of this product and pressed it down as well as I could on the torn fabric (it goes on white, so you can easily see where it is). The process is very simple. A perfect drying result was achieved. No longer can you see where the tear is. Also, I didn't notice any smell (I'm particular when it comes to This product is superb and I highly recommend it.

I made a blanket for my granddaughter in a short size, so I added fringe, but the yarn frayed terrible and I almost ruined the blanket, so I bought this glue to stop it from fraying, but it dried hard like a glue
5/5

Overall, I give it a five out of ten.
