The material seems to be extremely durable. Using this shelf for a rack unit takes up half the space. Despite the fact that the vents were simply too small for a rack screw to fit through and into the mounts on the bottom of the unit, I was able to drill very well through them. While plugging in the drill took more time than running it, it took even longer for me to begin drilling. Even though I suppose that would reduce the 40lb weight capacity (which means nothing to me since the unit is sandwiched between 2 other units and is holding something that weighs 1 lb at the most), I suppose I could make the vents a little wider. Raxxess charges a lot more, but the build quality seems top notch overall, and at a cheaper price you cannot The cooling fan on the unit below it faced up from the top, and they suggested at least 1 inch clearance for at least one inch between the vent and the fan blade).
Steel of a very thick consistency. Despite its lightweight construction, the shelf is actually made of thicker steel than the rack it's installed I built it from steel that was about 2x thicker than most of my other rack shelves. There isn't much difference between this and those inexpensively stamped sheet metal rack shelves sold by the ton. There is no flex in any way. Dieser shelf was in perfect condition and there were no places where the paint chipped or the corners bent. Having said that, it is more expensive than other 6" rack shelves I have used, but the quality is better than all of the others. Sometimes you have to pay a bit more for A/C Infinity's rack products, but they're worth that price. It's a 5 out of 5. In the future, I will buy more of these In order to mount non-standard Rack equipment will become easier to use.
Although I have some other shelving in place, the AC Infinity shelves are more durable, effective, and stylish than any other shelving brand I've used. There's a good bit of equipment on my rack which doesn't have 19" rack mountability and must be placed on top of that shelf. So the vents on them are awesome. There was also a great deal of choice when it comes to size and depth. We will be buying more in the near future. I am very happy with this.
Two of these have now been purchased and they are amazing. These are both products we used for an install of a school sound system. It's great to have 6 Splitters, RDL units, HDMI splitters, and a lot more are all compatible with an inch wide format. These powerful generators are extremely heavy duty, so they will last a long time. They are easy to install and very well made. There will be a need for more in the future. Oh, that's just a piece of metal with some holes in it, doesn't it? Besides that, there's a lot more to it. Durability of metals is determined by the thickness (gauge) of the metal. There is a nice coating on it, the holes are aligned nicely, and most importantly, the hole alignment is good. A structural lip must be bent in the right direction, but it must not be too tall so that it blocks any interfaces I would say that this is a good one overall.
The shelf is thick and solid. The sheet metal is a little costly for a sheet metal, but it is well made with clean edges, a great paint job, and most importantly, it is The cost isn't cheap, but the quality is excellent.
Nevertheless, I cannot complain due to the price and the look and feel of the bag. Rather than use it for big devices, I used it for small ones I can keep a lot of random items in it. In the picture above, I have a smaller version of the same one.
There are just two problems with the shelf the ventilation pattern is not symmetrical, and the wire ties are not secure enough to hold small equipment in place. This did not prevent the incident There were just some things I would have liked to have done differently. The packaging of the product would have rated it 4 stars, but I was not a fan of the packaging There is an automatic 1 star deduction if the foam is not recyclable Packaging that is environmentally friendly.
