Especially if you are familiar with audio engineering, mixing, and mastering, you can start using it right away. This product allows users to produce an entire song in one sitting without having to spend a lot of money on expensive equipment. However, I have found a few cons with this product (some of which may be due to my own ignorance) * * *- The unit does offer four tracks, but I'm not sure if you can record different things simultaneously since it only has two inputs. I think you'd have to record two tracks and then record two more tracks over them. I can only use two microphones, which is fine for music, but it's a problem for me. * * *- Mic settings can be easily adjusted for high, medium, low sensitivity. The onboard mics can also record at an extremely high volume. * * *- There is a little extra noise when using an XLR to 1/4" cable for a microphone, and this has to be cleaned up in an * * *- Due to the fact that it only transfers data when it is connected to a computer through USB, it cannot work as a USB audio interface.

The product is very versatile. It contains a lot of useful features in a small device. Although it is a bit complex to operate, the instructions are easy. A very good tracking system is available. While the sound quality is not as good as I had hoped, I continue to work on the various tools to improve it. It's in large part exactly what I was looking for.

There is a learning curve associated with this product. There are many steps and the process for recording is more difficult than it appears to be. In addition the instructions are confusing. It is frustrating to say the least. It was supposed to be straight forward and easy to record. Instead there are too many steps. The processes between "record" and "play" are too many to be worthwhile. I would prefer to be able to just hit "record" and then click "play" to hear what I have recorded. The purchase was not a happy one for me.

I really like this The software provides you with an easy method of uploading recordings. You can then make a CD since you will have a WAV file of the It is also a great price. I was ok with the lack of effects because I don't see any. It would be best if you got something else if you are looking for effects.
