There are a couple of quirks with the interface, but they become second nature. Nevertheless, each of the three paid-for Mixpads (downloaded) I've used since 2010 has ceased to function for me after less than two years of use, both on PC and Mac, and my NCH experience appears You click to get a 'fix' but you are reverted to an unpaid, unsupported plan You can purchase the pro version of the app. My Mac 10 just freezes when I try to use this. Before this, NCH came to my rescue, though I still had to pay a discount for the 'upgrade'. It was as if it were all happening back when I get the chance.
It's a good thing Not that I have actually used one, but it seems like a professional system. It has been noted beyond doubt that NCH software offers continuous upgrades to its MixPad, VideoPad etc software, for which new licenses are required, but then, as I said previously, it feels incredibly professional and I guess they deserve to make money from the service.
