As far as midi cables go, there is nothing better. These are the only brand and type of pillow I will still buy, as I currently own at least a dozen in varied sizes. These cables have made a big impression on me since I manage to use them with many different synths and midi compatible music products. There is such a sense of quality in them Connectors and cables should be solid and thick. There have never been any issues with these cables, and I recommend them highly. You'll want to have a few different lengths available.
A small price increase over basic MIDI cables is justified, since this extra quality is worth the extra cost. have a thick cable and are stout. The leads that I have connected have excellent connections to all the devices that I have The cables do not feel as if they are about to snap at any moment, as some inferior cables have done in the past. My experience with them has never been interrupted or disturbed by any noise. Aside from that, I just really like their visual appearance.
Even though this is a cheaper cable than I would normally buy from my home setup, it works alright. I just wish the cable was thicker and the connectors were a little more durable, but my nitpick is definitely not worth mentioning. Overall, I think this cable is fine.
The five foot cable is used at home, while the longer ones are used for gigs. I bought three different sizes of this cable. Their flexibility and quality make them ideal for everyday use.
I have no complaints so far. The build quality is good and the connection is great. If you're looking for a product for home use, this is an excellent choice. I'm certain there are more expensive professional ones, but if you're looking for something for your home this is a great value.
I am a fan of these MIDI cables, even though the price might be a bit high. Please be careful MIDI female connections do not all fit the bulbous plastic covers.
I am not an expert in midi cables, nor will I ever be one, but so far this appears to be the best cable out there. With this, I use my deepmind to interface with my laptop via audio interface, letting me control software instruments and play on my computer using MIDI commands.
It's a good deal for its price.
