We used some fog juice and the instructions went smoothly. We have shot 10 seconds after completing the instructions. With the spurts and lights it would be a plus, but we only used it on the floor so not sure how much it helped. We use it as part of our Halloween display, and it works beautifully. It's nice and thick out there. There was definitely some wow factor in that trick Halloween treats. Between the fog and the visibility should be a minute to two minutes. We did not constantly disperse fog when using it. As an added touch, I placed a few colored lights under the dragon's mouth to see the fog from a distance.
