For the past 20 years, I've been using a Passport 500 Pro. They were (and continue to be) fantastic personal assistants. Unfortunately, Fender stopped producing that model of Passport a long time ago, and they are now extremely difficult to come by. I decided to replace my 500 Pro because it had a few bad channels. br>br>I figured I could work around the fact that the new 2021 Passport Venue Mark II had two FEWER XLR inputs than the 20-year-old Passport 500 Pro. At the very least, I expected the sound quality of the new 2021 Passport to be comparable to that of the old Passport 500 Pro. br>br>Wait a minute, I was completely wrong. br>br>At a performance-related event-related event-related event-related event-related event-related event-related event The Passport Venue crackles and distorts as the volume and level gain are increased. I experimented with a variety of larger, higher-resolution images. There was no difference in how passive JBL speakers were rated. When I turn up the volume, add gain to a mic channel, and sing into it at a normal performance level, I sound like a damn robot. br>br>Just to be sure I wasn't going insane, I replaced it with my old 500 Pro, setting it up the same way and using one of the remaining good channels. The mic, speakers, volume, and gain settings were all identical. The unit, which was 20 years old, sounded crystal clear and had no distortion. br>br>I'm going to have to try to sell it to someone who will only use it for speaking (not singing) engagements, and I'm going to have to take a huge loss on it. I'm extremely disappointed. br>br>You should be ashamed of yourself, Fender, for releasing this piece of garbage that can't even compete with its 20-year-old older brother.
What else is there to ask for? This sound system is fantastic! It was purchased for performances with my wife (we both sing and play guitars and other instruments). It's powerful and crisp. The sound is rich and clear, and it's very clear! In my opinion, it's well worth the money. I like how compact it is and how easily it fits into our small car. There's even a fan in the back to keep you cool. Even for my 36" bass guitar, 375 watts is a lot of power. It is capable of handling anything we throw at it. Love it!.
I was given the location. It has a 375Watt power output and is extremely loud. There isn't much distortion, and the sound is very "true. " I plugged in my acoustic guitar and it sounded great. It connected to my phone via Bluetooth in seconds and I was able to watch my son dance while streaming YouTube. Excellent highs and a good bass. Reverb is accurate and reliable, and it can be put to good use. I'm starting to wish I had purchased the "Venue" version because this thing is fantastic; I'm curious how it would perform at 600 Watts. For what it is, it has a very small footprint. It is recommended that you purchase the speaker stands.
We purchased this equipment for our small church, and we were blown away by how good it sounded and how loud it could be. must buy. It's a breeze to transport and isn't overly heavy.
This could be my first Amazon review, despite the fact that I've spent a small fortune on the site in recent years. My previous bluetooth speakers were not loud enough for my shop, so I purchased these. I also brought in my old home stereo, which promptly blew up the speakers by blasting the Interstellar soundtrack through the speakers. These things were exactly what I was looking for in terms of power. The devices are light and easy to connect. Within a week, I'd received requests from friends to borrow it for their parties. The sound quality is excellent, and I am very pleased with it. For me, having distinct bass and treble is crucial. For this setup, I would have gladly paid $1000. Get one. And, yes, this one is capable of blowing up Hans Zimmer's organs.
Invest in a good pair of speaker cables! ,, The ones supplied have right-angled jacks that, when turned, tend to pull out of the socket at the speaker end. as a result of the speaker's front shape And there's a two-wire cord that's just fused, like a lamp cord, and it's starting to twist, not like a good audio cable. I placed an order for two 20-foot cables. jacks on both ends are straight and unbalanced.
This can be used to perform at small to medium-sized events. Great value for money, as it does not require an external mixer but will work with one if one is available.
Setup is simple and the sound quality is excellent.
