Before I bought, I wasn't entirely sure how this karaoke microphone worked, but after I learned the idea, I bought one. It connects to your phone through the speaker, so you listen to music on your phone while you sing. Quite a bit of noise is produced! A killer feature of the mic is the switch that will take (or get as close as it can to taking out the vocals) from whatever music is playing, leaving you with just I was really impressed with the mic even though it looks rather simple. It is very well built and packaged.
