I'm wondering if anyone has tried triggering it with an audio signal like a hi-fi Would you rather wear a hat or play with a drum machine side-stick?

My sample has been triggered by an audio source. This method is suitable for most people. Although not 100% accurate, there is the possibility of phantom triggers.

It is perfect for solo performances

In spite of my initial dislike, I have pretty happy overall with it and the hammered foot trigger after using it for 4 months. My percussion pad is not as durable as this. It wears out faster and works just as well as the percussion pad I had before (Sorry Roland, not your best device). For me, the foot trigger and a brain were the way to go!.
