It was hand problems that made me find this synth/keyboard. Wow, the emulation of a bass guitar keeps me gigging, and the people I play with can't seem to get enough of it. Having such a capable instrument at such a reasonable price is a wonderful thing. The synth has also been used to develop some recordings using Mixcraft and ProTools. The Rumble 100 bass amp is the ideal partner for all my riffs and favorite techniques. Having the MX49 BK became instantly apparent and really helped to spare the computer's resources by absorbing a number of the huge digital processing loads that digital audio development entails. My sound had been influenced by guitars for quite some time, so I was apprehensive about learning a synth instead. It was easy to make the switch to Yamaha, and I'm now loving.
I really like the blue one of the pro keyboards (looks good and feels good) I like that idea). The ideal sounding board for me would have been compact and portable You have reached the end. A thorough research was carried out on all You can use key boards and other devices I would say the mx49 dominates in the sample and sound quality by far. The 80s were the years when I used to perform with professional boards like the DX7 and Axximation Those are Roland D50s. They can't take their eyes off this little monster. In addition to looking awesome in blue, it boasts four hardware knobs that are excellent at handling realtime pitch shifts, and the performance mode can be accessed in addition to drum tracks. A fully-featured arpeggiator makes it come alive. In addition, a USB card port makes tweaking and customizing a breeze. Many different setups are saved this works very well. Consider these tips You may want to keep the factory defaults on your USB As compared to the job/restore Patch+ total pro patch Synths that cost $2k+ have the same features It sounds fantastic and is a great value for the price
Cons The following - A pedal looper I bought from Digitech is my only looper and sequencer (I did not make this mistake)*- There is no layer and no data Multiple simultaneous transmissions in split There is no aftertouch or weighted or semi-weighted Even so, keys still work well - There are almost no 3rd party patches available for this (!). The number of items found is only 4*-
I have a lot of fun with this, I'm looking for more dance/EDM sounds. This is an easy to use program The design engineers were very clever The Yamaha synth is a classic of the highest quality. I have updated Stereo looper phrase sampler pedal for Jamman Solo XT works great with Digitech JMSXT Jamman Solo XT. What you need to have I use it with an Alto mixer or a Benriner It's impossible for me to use a DAW I find the idea of using software in front of a computer ridiculous (I'm old school) It is a great idea to use a hardware pedal looper. My keyboard and looper kept me glued to the iPad for two hours last night. Follow these tips Put it on auto-pilot The looper can be set to quantize mode, and the tempo can be set in the You can use MX49 to match the pace (120 or 106bpm, for example). This is record number 8 I do 16 bars of mx49 performance drums and I do a live drum solo Loop the bassline in the looper, then store the loop as the After this, I added multiple loops of percussion parts from the mx49. Then, I added chord comps with clavs or pads as a backdrop. As a result, it layers / overdubs until it sounds great. In addition, I play an organ or synth lead patch over top of it for improvisation. It is very different to play for fun as opposed to just for performance. Here's a question The reason so many patches play just one note at a time is because of Two is one of my favorite games There are 3 notes in the chord Can you clarify something for me? Update 2/2019 The more I play this, the more I like it. Tia to the music, Ken
Update 2/2019 The more I play this, the more I like it. Playing along with the music videos on YouTube with a mixer is my method. I absolutely recommend this keyboard I also love the patches included in the 3rd-party "mx dance pro" download (less than They are what I use to play along with / along with edm like tiesto, umf, etc they have impressive quality that is superior to the built-in patches (thank you.
However, I was having trouble getting my DAW to recognize the built-in voices in the synth. There is no other way to do it but by using an audio out (placing a microphone in front of the output speakers). Users on the Yamaha and Logic Pro forums stated that this is not possible. My refusal to accept that solution made me angry. At that point, I read the manual and discovered there was an audio interface built into the device. Therefore, rather than connecting this to the Scarlett 2i4, I just plug this directly into my Mac, and using Logic Pro to work with it. There you go! From the MX61 you can easily record crystal clear voices in your DAW, thanks to its crystal clear sound.
In the beginning, I bought a Motif 6, and it turned out to be a very good purchase. I still don't see a motif here. The experience didn't turn out to be as expected. Because the outside of the device is made of plastic, it would not be appropriate for touring. As far as studio use goes, it's great. Sounds and rhythms that follow a Motif pattern. The result is very satisfactory to me. The only downside I have found so far is the exterior is plastic, but that does make it much lighter for taking it wherever you want. Please make sure you get a case or a bag for it. As well as that, if it came with a USB cable, I would love it. The one I just ordered for it is on its way. I'll be able to use it along with my DAW after that Get a sense of what the keyboard is like at a deeper level.
