Moreover, you are able to get a good slapback and a nice long delay out of it. I don't see a lot of difference and it doesn't seem to brighten or darken the dry signal much. The Aqua Puss does significantly brighten the tone which is one of my complaints about it, but it also has its place (and my Aqua Puss was a gift from my wife, so I cannot complain too much). In my memory, the Aqua Puss costs quite a bit more, so if you're searching for an echo or delay effect where you can get it under $100 then this is a good option. In addition to its powerful sound, this pedal almost seems bombproof. I was stunned at how large it was when I first got it, but it still is much smaller than the original Way Huge Aqua Puss (actually, it's not that small but it is smaller by about 20%). Nonetheless, I am sure if you really need to save space on your board that much there are smaller pedals that will do the job just as well.
There is one more thing I want to mention The Mod switch does indeed work on mine. Despite its subtle nature, it has a very noticeable effect on your repeats.
