Selected User Reviews For Sabian Quiet Tone Practice Cymbals Set 13” Hi-Hats 14 18” Crash Ride (QTPC502)

The sound and price of the practice cymbals are fantastic
5/5

The cymbals are good practice cymbals for the price. If you want a real feel from your cymbals, but don't want too much noise, then these are the ones It sounds great when you crash and ride, and the hi hats feel real. It is hard to find anything better for the price if you understand these are meant for practice and not intended to replace cymbals.

The quality of these practice cymbals is excellent
5/5

They sound clean and very pleasing. They don't compromise on quality at all, but the sound is reduced by at least half compared to a Zildjan silent cymbal set. They are equivalent to a Zildjan set, but with a bit more of a crisper sound. As far as cymbals go, he prefers Sabian cymbals, and my ears definitely prefer them too.

I'm very pleased with this purchase
5/5

The sound is great, but not loud, and the only thing I didn't like was the crash - it sounded like a splash so I guess I'll get a bigger size for this one, but I'll keep this one in mind, it's really good.

It sounds fantastic
4/5

Quieter than a normal cymbal. I really like this. The positives are This type of cymbal looks nice and sounds quieter than a normal cymbal. The negatives are It's not as loud as a regular cymbal, but they're for practice only.

These aren't bad at all, I tell you
4/5

It's hard to complain about them for the price they're at. It would be nice if they were a tad louder or more In order to "cut" through the sound, er [is that a word?]. There is one thing I can tell you for sure, they are a LOT more attractive than the ones from another certain cymbal manufacturer that costs twice as much. While the cymbal line of Sabian's Quiet Tone is more expensive, it at least has a nice "smooth" finish appearance compared to the other "higher price" cymbals in the line. A manufacturer of cymbals with a high volume. There is a good tone to the bell, but instead of the large, prominent "Quiet Tone" logo, it would've been better with the Sabian logo only. It is true that the other manufacturer's products sound better. As long as the cost and look of the Sabian line are not an issue, I would consider it.

But as a YouTuber pointed out, Sabian is not as good to play as they'd like
3/5

The quiet tone badge on the Sabian cymbals screams practice cymbal to me as well as a YouTuber pointed out. In fact, people shouldn't be required to read that when the cymbal already has 1000 holes indicating it's a low volume cymbal, so they should consider removing it from future production.
