It's exactly what I've been hearing in my head for the last many months. A dark, dry, and mellow wine. It is perfect for me since I'm not a heavy hitter. The wash never overpowers the stick sound, as it does on a lot of light rides. Even though it still crashes when I need it to, I have control over the crash. There is a woody nature to the stick definition that keeps it stable and it won't wash out. The underside of the stick is lathed, so the sound has some washy overtones under it as opposed to a lot of completely unlathed "dry" cymbals. It is possible to draw out these tones with a slight crash, but they do not eclipse This ride gives me the freedom to let loose without my ears hurting. In addition to the bell, I really like the way it looks. Although it is small, it still produces a distinct sound that cuts through in a dark, gnarly way as it separates itself from the rest of the cymbal. Although this ride has a very specific sound and feel, its versatility across a variety of genres makes it look very appealing. But if your idea of metal is finesse and musicality, this ride almost certainly won't cut through a wall of guitar distortion. So if you're looking for something both quiet and mellow, then this is definitely worth a look.
It really appeals to me to play this cymbal. In addition to being dryer and with a little less 'ping' than your typical ride cymbal, it still has enough body to crash on, but with a nice amount of viberato at the same time. I like about this cymbal is its price compared to other cymbals made by Sabian. For example, the nova is considerably cheaper than the phoenix or a magnum. I believe it and I'm.
I can't believe how good it sounds considering the price tag. The stick definition is perfect, the sound is dry, but not overly This is a very low pitched tone. There's no doubt that this is my new favorite cymbal line and I will recommend it to everyone.
I just wanted to let you know that the monarch dark line of cymbals is an amazing line, but it is a cymbal meant for jazz that is very dried out. Buying it was a bad investment since I did not research it enough.
I love how the stick is defined. *I like this a lot.
I like this.
This is by far the best ride on the market for a dark, dry ride at a reasonable price. This is what you can get for 450 bucks instead of 450 dollars for a Meinl sand ride, 550 bucks instead of 550 dollars for a K Custom. Stunning dry crash, great bell sound, great stick definition, and one of the best riders we've ever had. Also, this cymbal looks sick beyond belief, especially in terms of aesthetics. With this line, Sabian should be making a killing. I don't know why they aren't currently the gold standard, though. There is absolutely no value in this.
