The nickel sound is a little bit better than the silver
5/5

The nickel sound is a little bit better than the silver. My Roland kit is the only kit that uses them. As for sound, it is, of course, highly subjective, but in my case, the Gen16 units are quite qualified to handle the silver or bronze tasks that I require from them. Here are some high-quality photos It is clear that these hats are more versatile than the original Gen16 series, and I replaced my silver ones after five years of using them lightly to moderately. The upgrade is pleasing to me, but there is not much of a WOW factor between silver and bronze, other than the bronze looking better than the silver. In the end, I give them 5 stars as there is no going back to those rubber Hi-Lows Wear a hat.

With the new alloy, the sound is better
4/5

It's the best decision if you're looking for cymbals that pair better with electronic kit or if you need to tone down your drummer's volume. These are much more durable and reliable than the original alloys. I was pleasantly surprised at how much better they sounded and how well they held up. If you want to use the old silver alloy, don't mess with it. Regular use causes them to crack. You should consider one of these newer ones.

You're doing a great job with your awesome hi-hats, I just got them and played them today, and they have a great sound! My drum set already has the Zildgen gen 16 crashes, but I didn't have the hi hats, so now I have the complete set
5/5

I also have Remo silent stroke heads on my drums. Get these!.

THIS IS NOT A GOOD ITEM TO BUY
3/5

It seems to you that you are being led to believe this. THIS IS NOT A GOOD ITEM TO BUY. In some ways, you are being led to believe that you will get a GEN16 digital processing unit This does not apply to you. In fact, you do not even receive a direct pickup from GEN16. You get a box in the mail with two cymbals in it. You need both in order to even consider playing with edrums. Here's all you need to know. Because you do not receive the processor, which is sold separately for $400, it should be much more clear that GEN16 Digital Processor cannot modify tone, volume, or balance. It costs $60 dollars to purchase the pickup. Overall, it's a product that has been totally misrepresented.
