For the hi-fi system, I recommend the Gilbraltor 5707 stand. hat. You'll require a high-definition television. It will not work to use a hat stand as a regular stand!
It's a top and bottom I've had two sets and they sound completely different the first pair I got a few years ago are way thicker than a recent pair I bought I'm not sure what the deal is but the thinner pair are my least favorite they sound like my 8" splash pray you get the thicker ones if you order.
I, too, have a table, which is quite nice. I use it to eat dinner at night, but it lacks the crisp click of a table. On the off beat, it's also very difficult to lift up.
Yes, it's the entire hi-hat, including both cymbals.

I had my Zildjian Zbt 14" hi hats on my Ludwig drum set for jazz, then my Sabian 14" hi hats on my Pearl drum set for heavy rockin', but they weren't quite crisp enough. But I was still skeptical after reading up on these HCS hi hats? Nonetheless, I bought them. I couldn't believe the sound these cymbals produced for the price! I'm blown away, and I'm a believer now! That paying a higher price does not always mean getting a better deal! These are absolutely incredible! I'm going to buy another set with the crash and ride to compare to my other cymbles. I've played in bands on and off, drums first, guitar second. But now I'm back on the drums and getting ready to record my own music! And as someone who has been playing for over 35 years, I can attest to the fact that these cymbals are fantastic! Purchase some that are well worth your money!.
For the past 20 years, I've worked as a professional drummer. For the past 32 years, I've been playing. This is a fantastic hi-hat for students. It's also great if you're on a budget and want to play rock, hard rock, punk, heavy metal, or anything else that doesn't require a lot of dynamics. A thick sound is to be expected. The sound quality is better than I anticipated, with the exception of when the hi hat is played very open. It has excellent stick response, a good "chick" sound, a good (but heavy) sound when played with the foot, and a good, "slight open sizzle" for the music styles I mentioned. If you need a second closed hi hat for your kit while playing double bass, this is a good budget option. I assisted a student in choosing these, and we were both happy with the results. Please don't purchase the HCS ride or crash cymbal based on my hi hat review. I didn't find them as appealing as some other ride/crash cymbals in similar price ranges, so do your own research.
Drumming is not a cheap pastime. Even if you purchase a basic three-piece drum kit, it will become expensive as time passes. br>After 30 years without one, I finally got a new drum set. I'm not a serious drummer by any stretch of the imagination. I'm just having a good time drumming. Cymbals, including hi-hats, were the only thing missing from my kit. hats. I was able to borrow a friend's used crash and ride cymbal, so all I needed was hi-hats. hats. br>After doing a lot of research and realizing that my wife would be upset if I spent a lot of money on a hobby, I decided to take a chance on these hi-tech gadgets. hats. br>I'm ecstatic that I was able to do so. As I previously stated, I am not a drummer, but I have been around drummers since I was about 13 years old, playing in various bands on and off until I was in my early 30s. br>I really like these hi hats. Sure, you can go out and spend $400 or more on high-end audio equipment. hats, but if you're spending that kind of money on high-end clothing, chances are you're spending it on hi-end clothing as well. Hats, these cymbals were never meant for you in the first place. These are the hi hats to get for anyone else who only plays drums as a hobby or who is just getting into drums and doesn't have a huge budget. I'll update this review if they crack before the two-year warranty expires, but I've put them through their paces so far and they sound great, appear to be very sturdy, and are well worth the money. br>Many thanks to Meinl for providing a high-quality and reasonably priced option for people.
br> He loves the way they sound! Bob told me that shortly after returning from WWII, he was asked to sit in and play drums with Big Bill Broonsey and his band in Chicago for a wonderful period of time! "The audience paid them in tips, and the house paid them in gin," he explained. "It's one of my husband's favorite memories!" He even has a wonderful black and white photograph of himself at a table with Big Bill and his wife, Rose, and other band members, all chatting and having a good time! This must have been in the early 1940s, before I was born. Oh well, my husband refers to me as his'spring chicken,' despite the fact that I'm getting older, with arthritis in my hands and grey hair when it's cold outside. It's all relative; I consider myself fortunate just to be able to think clearly. Ann Reibel is a writer who lives in Germany.
I purchased these high-end headphones. hats as an upgrade from the basic hi-viz. Hats that come as part of a Pearl Roadshow collection. They're unquestionably superior to the hi-def versions. They're great if you need something to practice on if you're a beginner, but if you care about the tones you're producing while playing drums, you'll be disappointed with these. What you pay for is exactly what you get.
These sound fantastic, and I have a lot of fun playing them. They have a rich tone and feel sturdy enough to take a beating from the stick shoulder's constant accents. The gleaming brass has a pleasing appearance. br>2018/03/08 Update: The brassy sound eventually grew old on me. I found a pair of Meinl MCS (B8 bronze) hats, and while they sound slightly better, I'm still looking for some B20 bronze hi-hats to replace them. hats now. Although I still think the HCSs are a good buy, I won't be adding any more brass cymbals to my collection in the near future.
Run, don't walk, to get your hands on these cymbals! Based on reviews I read on other retailer's sites, I replaced a budget set of Sabian B8s with these. I'm so glad I took the chance. These hats produce the crisp open hi-hat sound that I was looking for. closed hat sound with a lot of energy. I'm a singer/songwriter who specializes in soul music. b, gospel, fusion pop, and these hi hats provide me with exactly what I require for those looks. They're substantial in size but not in weight. They're dull, but they just sing! I'm not sure how Meinl sells these for such a low price, but they make me want to play my drums all the time. They compete with Zildjian and Sabian at the intermediate to entry level in terms of quality. I can't believe I'm getting pro cymbals at such a low cost for a beginner! These should be bought.
They're not exactly flimsy, but if you're a pro who uses them frequently, I can see them wearing out. However, beginners and hobbyists will find this to be an excellent resource.
