If I have a kit with l80s and mesh heads, will they overpower it?

Choking them will produce a sound similar to the rattle of a closed hi-hat, or like the crash of a small trash cymbal. You can get a good sense of the volume and sound of the FX Stack product line if you watch some videos.

As a professional musician and as a player for fun, I almost exclusively use Avedis Zildjian. tried a few special effect cymbals, and I longed for a FX stack that would be perfect, but was not able to get my heart set on one. There's something about these that makes me want to cry. Sadly, their sound can be duplicated relatively easily with a cheap choked or somewhat open hi-fi I had high expectations for Zildjian, but this was somewhat disappointing.
