The item has a nice appearance and solid construction. There is definitely a muted/low key quality to the sound from this, which might be suitable It would have been nice to have something that was a little more prominent and cutting. This is similar to what you get when you shake It seems unlikely that a guitar player would be able to get any percussion out of tapping their foot to the music by placing this on their ankle. In order to get the kind of sound I prefer, there would need to be a strong, vigorous movement.

This is such a wonderful sweater that I am buying two more to layer over my first one.
