since the stand has holes for inserting the lugs in the space of an eight lug tom, it will not work with a six lug It is unlikely that the spacing of lugs on the six lug toms aligns with these holes for lugs.
It won't fit in the adaptor because the lug spacing and the diameter of the adaptor will be out of place.

We will follow up with a video A resonance occurs). For the battery, I used Evans EMADS, and for the reso head, I used the EQ3. A clean empty soup can was also used to burn a hole in the reso head. My electric range was heated up with a medium size empty tin can while I set the head down on BACK of a cutting board. The pot holder was placed on the backside of the reso head, and I simply placed the hot can there, and it burned a perfectly round circle right through the head. Making use of a small (travel-sized I have added the size 3) "MY PILLOW" as additional dampening, and my flooring tom now sounds absolutely killer! This kick is perfect for smaller venues that don't want to have my 18" x 22" kick taking up too much room.
There are some maneuvers required before you can get it over the lugs and start screwing them in, but it works great and I haven't had any problems with it wiggling.
I found it to be a great tool.
I am very happy with this product- it has worked perfectly.
