The snare head is without a doubt one of my favorites. Tama snares are known for their deep sound and I think this is perfect for them. Besides being highly durable and sounding amazing, snare sounds are kept focused with this pedal. Still, I don't think that it'll work for everyone or every genre. Using the controlled sound reverse power dot is great for genres such as rock, metal, and alternative, but I wouldn't necessarily suggest it for jazz, fusion, and There is the potential that it could choke snares as deep as 5 inches. I was skeptical of those when I put one on my 14x5 PDP snare, and it sounded flat and dead. Consequently, I would do some research and watch some snare head demos to decide which snare head would be best All in all, it's one of Remo's best models and is well worth the purchase price.
I use it on a couple of my snare drums.
I do not consider it my favorite head, but it is of high quality regardless. The taste is a little too lively for my taste, which is ironic because the dot is supposed to do just that. The sound is good, and I might purchase one again if I start looking for that sound again. I really like the head, but I don't want to use it with By the way. Guru Snare is an expert in solid wood.
Well, maybe your drum playing life! After I installed my new snare head, I spent an additional $87 and installed these REMOs on all my other drums. After my practice sessions became music, they no longer sounded monstrous. Feel a sense of love for Replace the Remo heads with coated ones.
It is not quite as thin as a normal CS and not quite as thick as a double. Even though it's a single ply head, you can tune your drum extremely low, and it will not.
Whenever I do it, I do.
Controlled sound x in coated form with reverse mylar dots has always been a favorite of mine. The same applies to this one as well.
I love the sound of this Compared to the old one, this one wears out much less.
