In search of the perfect double bass pedal, I have tried several over the past few years. As well as these Dynamic Wave 5002's, I own Yamaha Flying Dragons, Pearl Eliminators, Trick Pro V1's, and now these Dynamic Wave I've tried all of these pedals, and they're all good, but I never could get I satisfied with them. The trick pedals were a massive investment for me, and I thought my search would be over as soon as I bought them, but in the end they were just a bit over-priced for what they offer My design was engineered specifically My skills are not high enough to adjust that many variables. It was then I bought the DW 5002 double pedal, and it was just what I was looking for. All of their features are wonderful to me. The setup was very easy for me and I have never looked back since. You may find your personal preferences for bass drum pedals vary, however these seemed to work well for me. Every drummer has different demands and expectations for his pedals, so mileage may vary.
Although this would be a 5, there are some things to consider. It was obvious that the holes in the connecting rod were too small for the lugs upon arrival. Dare I say, I am very upset about this as it rendered the double pedal useless. Are there any tips anyone can offer? The DW hardware I have been using does not usually behave like this. It makes me very sad.

The pedals are amazing! I love them! Here is a photo of me playing double bass for the first time. The pedals are crazy smooth, though.
I can only say this I am very impressed with the quality of workmanship and how responsive the pedals are. Drummers should practice with them and use them when necessary, as there should be one bass drum for some drummers. Myself, I would certainly do so.
It was expected that the double pedal would be ready on time.
I adore it. Easily kicks up a lot of speed and power.
