Once you get them set up right, these bad boys are great. The drum part took a while for me because I am not an expert, but they are still the best I have ever performed. In comparison to these guys, Pearl was the closest, but was less smooth.

With the reliable DW 5000 Turbos I can rest assured I'm in good hands. In addition to being well made and smooth as glass to play, these pedals are well built and play well. Last time, I had my last set of DW 5000s for much longer than 15 years - it was only when they were worn beyond repair that I had to purchase a new set. As a result of my experience with these new pedals, I strongly believe they're the best drum purchase I've ever made.
