It appears to be rosewood but is in fact reasonable CLAVES. There is no rosewood on the shelves, but Made in Mexico hardwood (which is fine) and some other hardwood (which isn't fine!) This product has a reasonable price and is serviceable, but nothing about it is accurate.

I like the quality, the sound, and the feel of this record. I want to know your diameter! When I used these, I threw away the set I was using!.
