Product Description

Doumbek bag with medium dimension for standard doumbeks - the Meinl Professional Medium Doumbek Bag offers excellent protection when transporting your drum to the venue, café, jam session or recording studio - accommodates doumbeks up to 9 inches radius and 18 inches tall.

Exterior fabric is 600 denier synthetic fabric for outstanding durability for heavy road use. It is designed to resist water, stains and abrasions with a good degree of thickness and an extra layer of PVC to give the bag extra support during road use.

A 420 denier synthetic fabric is used to make the interior as durable as possible, with a PU coating that makes it water-resistant and flexible. A thick padding ensures that the bag offers excellent protection and is durable for heavy use.

A solid grip is guaranteed by two handles made of heavy PP webbing that are cross-stitched on this bag. These thick handles are low stretch and designed for heavy loads, so you don't have to worry about fraying or ripping over time.

This bag is equipped with a shoulder strap that can be adjusted in length with a metal ladder lock, allowing you to carry other bags and cases to your performance, recording session or practice (strap can be removed if needed).

Accessory and tool pockets on the outside of the bag are a useful place to store small items, such as tuning wrenches, small cables, and even percussion instruments, like a foot tambourine or small shakers.

With this bag, we use a double pull zipper that is completed with two large metal pull handles that are easy to grip - this zipper has a webbed nylon lining that is highly durable to ensure durability over time

The construction is well done and sturdy

Meinl Doumbek is not their smaller Darbuka, so this case is for it. It comes in a number of sizes, but the Meinl Doumbeks stand 17" tall, have an 8 1/2" head (which measures 11" from edge to edge), and a 7 3/8" base. Besides being well padded on all surfaces, it is also portable. Aside from the top and bottom, there are three sides. An adjustable zipper is featured around the top of the head section and a zipper on the side so that the Doumbek is easy to get in and out. Outside of the case is a good material, it has a handle on the side, and an extendable strap that you can loop over your shoulder if you do not want to carry it. We received this order from World Music Instruments the day after we placed it, and the order was shipped the next day. *The only complaint I have was with FedEx they have a hard time tracking packages but I got the package here within a reasonable period of.

I originally purchased a case for my Doumbek that was thin and affordable. This drum case is far better than my previous drum case, but I was still not confident it would keep my drum safe.
