No, this device is only capable of providing audio. Different pocket operators can be synced, but no midi can be done.
Only if they are sent by the seller. It has nothing to do with the company. It will take aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
It only has one output. No usb.
It appears to be made up of a single large IC chip. It has a stereo headphone jack, but adjusting the volume can be difficult. Last week, I changed the batteries for the first time, and it was a good experience. On a couple of Happy Highway trucking recordings, you can hear it.
Selected User Reviews For Teenage Engineering PO-24 Pocket Operator Office Noise Sequencer
I have a few POs, but this one is probably my favorite in the non-traditional category. The newer 30's lineup is significantly better (the new Tonic, KO, and Speak are significantly better). br>br>This modest little PO is extremely eccentric, and the standard sounds are excellent. They aren't as irritating as the Arcade after a while. br>br>There is a slight learning curve with all Pocket Operators, but they all work in the same way. If you need help, go to YouTube and watch some videos. They're ideal for taking on the road. One thing to keep in mind is that my batteries don't fit as well in this one as they do in my other ones, which is inconvenient. br>br>Overall, I adore this little guy and his chirps, warbles, and beeps from his office!.
The manual states that the unit can be turned off manually, but this does not work. br>The unit is also supposed to have an auto-update feature. feature that is turned off also does not function - I've had to remove the batteries after each use to try to save them because they just stay on even after 24 hours of sitting idle.
This tiny noisemaker is fantastic. Some of the sounds are so similar that it's difficult to tell them apart, but for the price and the rest of the features, I can't complain too much. On some of the sounds, I wish the parameter effects were a little more intense. The punchline is: in effects are fantastic, but I've yet to discover a way to dial in a momentary effect, i. e. , you can punch in an effect, but you must then hold the FX button to clear it for future playback. a pattern's throughs; Instead of having it implicitly record those effects, I would have kept that functionality for when you're in record mode. Oh well. I'd also like to see you be able to live-record without having to hold the record button down: Because the other hand is holding the record, it's impossible to record intricate patterns in one take with only one hand. One of my favorite features is the ability to route signals through the device, complete with syncing signals. Despite its admittedly minor flaws, the overall value is far greater than the price.
Bass synths, drum machines, and lead synths are what most people are looking for. This one, however, should not be overlooked. Floppy disk drives, mouse clicks, dot matrix printers, and other noise effects can all be sequenced and programmed into incredible rhythms and loops. If you have other PO systems, think of it as the band's percussionist, adding color, glitches, and effects. If you haven't yet purchased a drum machine, this one will serve as a great starter kit, and the unique sounds will force you to think outside of the box and add a whole new dimension to your music. It comes highly recommended.
This is insanely awesome! Other models are on my wish list. br>The sounds are truly unique and incredible. It takes a little getting used to the process/flow navigation, but adding different effects to the loop or individual instruments is a lot of fun. br>I need to brush up on my loop saving and editing skills. br>br>It's fantastic that it's so small and portable; it only requires two AAA batteries, which fit nicely in the back. Even if the speaker isn't great, it's a great addition because you can pick it up and play with it. br>br>With this concept, they really nailed it.
These tiny devices are a lot of fun. It fits in my pocket, consumes very little power, and can be used as a backup percussionist. I connect it to my tube amplifier and listen to the results. It's all about the active band these days. The onboard speaker is a waste of space, with far too low a volume to be useful; instead, a dust jacket should have been used for included extras.
If you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a music program, get this; it's well worth the money; the instructions are simple and easy to follow; it's very user-friendly and simple to use. It's not difficult to pick up on. You can edit sounds, it's extremely portable, and it has a headphone jack, allowing you to use it almost anywhere.
