I bought this for my 6-year-old son's birthday so he could have fun while developing his rhythm and learning the basics of percussion. Although this electronic drum pad isn't completely inconvenient, it does have a few drawbacks that make it difficult for kids to use: 1. br>br> Because the sensors are smaller than the drum pads, they must be hit precisely in the middle of each pat to receive a response. Given that it is a children's toy, this is a problem. To make a sound, children should be able to strike any pad. Every fourth or fifth strike, unfortunately, goes unnoticed. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br The connection between the pad and the speaker has a small area that does not lay flat. As a result, every third or fourth hit on the crash and ride symbols is ignored. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. It's just that the pads aren't big enough. This poses a problem for the 90 of people who use their left hand for snare and right hand for high hat. As a result, proper technique is virtually impossible. 4. br>br> Other sensors begin to register for no apparent reason. When you're drumming, the floor toms will make a random sound. This happens on a regular basis, causing the rhythm to be disrupted. br>br>The only standout feature is the speaker volume and battery life: it can get quite loud, and it's been used on and off all day without needing to be recharged. br>br>If all you want is a noisy toy for your toddler to learn different drum sounds, this is the toy for you. This drum pad, however, is a dud if you're looking for something to help kids learn rhythm and technique.
I wish the pedals were a little heavier; they barely work with the drumsticks; you have to use your hands. I also wish I could record at least four bars to layer. It would be nice if it supported midi, because it doesn't really roll up. I mostly use the demo tracks for bass jamming, but they don't loop and have overkill fills every freaking bar, making it impossible to compose to. I expected at least a half-baked app for the price to compensate for the obvious lack of care and musical knowledge. If you don't have pots and pans, this is a great option for kids. They have a more appealing sound. The battery life on this device is outstanding.
Purchased as a birthday present for my 13-year-old son. They're exactly what I was expecting. When not in use, they can be rolled up and stored in a small space.
The main feature of this roll up drum that appeals to me is that it does not take up as much space as a traditional drum set. The built-in speaker is also a plus, and you can always use headphones if you don't want to bother anyone while you're playing. I deducted a few stars because the sound can sometimes become distorted when I hit the pads, or there may be no sound unless I hit the pad in a specific location. Overall, this is a decent little drum kit that could benefit from some tweaking.
Love it. Excellent sound quality with a realistic feel. The pedals are in good working order, and the high hat performs as expected and sounds fantastic. It's a lot of fun and easy to carry around.
For kids, this is an excellent set. It doesn't take up much room and produces excellent sound. I had a great time!.
My 12-year-old son enjoys it a lot. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sound. I'm glad he can use his earphones because it can get quite loud.
I am pleased with the service.
