In its own right, the product was gorgeous. I was impressed with the way it was packed. Having a case was also an attractive touch, but the quality of the instrument is what I'm concerned about. Simply put, this one didn't meet my needs and I now realize that I need to spend a bit more money to get the results I desired. I noticed that the sound in the video was very cheap and tinny. Whenever I hit the can with a stick it sounded as if I was hitting a tin can. There isn't a deep, rich sound to be found As far as I can tell, this is a mass-produced product made in a factory where quantity was emphasized over quality. Having played it a few days and hating the way it sounded more and more, I had to give it back.

You can get a good understanding of tonality by playing a basic song such as Twinkle twinkle little star. We have a lot of fun and relax. It is in the perfect key for what we need and has a very pleasant tone. Some muddiness may need to be cleared up with a little filing or slight bending on one tongue. For now, we will leave it for now since it can only be noticed with very soft touches. It is our first experience with tongue drums, but this particular set up is extremely satisfying from both a sound and looks perspective, 11 notes in D major, 10 inches in diameter, and priced at just under hundred dollars. Buying this 10" brown steel drum as a Christmas gift for my 13-year-old daughter was a great idea. Trying it out beforehand helped me decide whether to wrap it up. I wonder what kind of sound it is. It is tuned to D major, so that's why I got this particular 11 note drum. I found it to be better than I expected &ldquo It is a gift I cannot wait to open on Christmas morning with my daughter. My tongues have a number in the middle that I have no idea what it means. The tongues are individually adjustable for tuning, which is nice. However, even by tapping randomly the sound is stunning. Playing it that way is even easier since the mallets are pretty bouncy. There are 4 small finger pads to play it that way as well. It is a beautiful piece of hammered metal with a good thickness and a lovely hammered finish. It is a nice, mid-range watch with a rather simple design It is a medium-sized company Drum set at a reasonable price. the money I spent. I don't feel like it's cheap, and no notes buzz or rattle when I play it.
