To achieve flats, use Neodymium magnets to lower the tongue's pitch.
It starts at 1 in the major scale, which is Cbr>2 in the minor scale is Dbr>3 in the minor scale is Ebr>4 in the major scale is F etc., etc.
Because I'm not a musician, I'm not sure if the tones are correct. The little'song book' that comes with it is one of my favorites. I wish there were more songs that were both popular and advanced. The tones appear to be correct when using the little songs as a guide, and there are instructions for 'tuning' it if it is out of tune. I just had the idea to use a pitch pipe to check if the tones are correct, and I'll give it a shot later.
Our drum bag is made of high-quality, thick material that will protect your drums effectively.

Magnets can be used to tune it to a different sale. br>Good quality at a good pricebr> For example, the C dorian or C minor scales.
I chose this tongue drum because it was supposedly hand tuned to be spot on before shipping, out of all the tongue drums available in a given price range. I decided to order because it was a significant plus for me. My heart sank as one of my tongues became 'dead. ' I continued to fiddle with it until I noticed metal where it was supposed to be cut when I held it up to my face. I was able to remove it with a razor (a very small piece) - The note became crystal clear as a result of this. I was hoping for a simple explanation of how to use the keyboard. The three lowest keys, numbered 5 center, 6 and 7, sound 'flat' down the middle of the drum and, I'm guessing, correspond to a different key scale; As a result, when you have no knowledge of music, you are left wondering and frustrated. I, too, have been unable to locate an appropriate explanation on the internet. This drum, in my opinion, is better suited to improv than to playing traditional American tunes. Playing and improvising are both simple to do right out of the box, and finding chords and patterns to use and repeat is simple as well. On the bottom of the larger 12" drum, there is a rubber stopper that isn't big enough for a hand but can be used to push an implement to retune the tongues if they get pushed downward over time (a few of mine were actually too high as you run your hand across the top - (should be smooth), so I'm having trouble pressing them down hard enough to keep the tongue tips down. The one octave of C is easy to get clear tones with mallets (not with hands), but not the rest of the tongues; easy to play and improvise; the padded bag with shoulder strap and handle and double zipper is fine; this was priced in line with other brands of the same size and number of notes (12", 13 note C Major). I consider having notes other than a scale to be a plus. I like having a variety of sounds, from low-pitched gongs to high-pitched trumpets. The sound of a pitched light bell. I've tried to find out why notes 5, 6, and 7 sound clunky, as well as why two of the high notes sound clunky rather than clear. trashy. Because I have not received an explanation, I believe I should return it.
This was a big hit with my 1-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter. She enjoys pounding on the table with her fists. The use of the mallets should only be supervised by an adult. She relaxes when she hears an adult playing. I'm going to go out and find some more music for it. We thought it was an excellent way to get her acquainted with music. It was fun to play with for both mom and dad.
a green 12-inch tongue drum (8 notes) and a green 12-inch tongue drum I like the 12-inch (13 note) tongue drum and the 12-inch (13 note) bass drum. The inch drum is the best because it has the best sound, all of the notes are in tune, and it's the easiest to play. This 12- inch, 13- In a C major diatonic scale, the note tongue drum plays the following notes: G3, A3, B3, C4 (middle C), D4, E4, F5, G5, A5, B5, C5, D5, E5, G5, A5, B5, C5, D5, E5, G5, A5, B5, C5, D5, E5, G5, A5, B5, C5, D5, E5, G5, A When played, the top two and bottom two notes are a little muddy, but they sound in tune. Even without sharps or flats, it's simple to play well-known melodies. In the key of C major, there are numerous songs.
This purchase has made me extremely happy. [Right - Left - Right - Left - Left - Left - Left - Left - Left - - [1,3,5,7,2(9)] [L - 2,4,6,1,3(10)] On the vertical axis, you get the under 5,6,7, with that big 5 in the middle. You can come up from the 5 under the root to the 3 over the octave in C major, and then play the next two tongues to form a diatonically harmonized triad, starting with any [Right/Left] tongue. The 'easy to learn' switch was flipped as a result of this. br>br>I like the numbers on the tongues; however, I wish they were permanent because I smashed one of them. The tone is nice, but I've never played anything else. It has a great sound to it, and I believe it would be beneficial in music education. It's piqued people's interest in learning more about this instrument.
I think the size is just right, and the color is fantastic. The drum is well-built and appears to be long-lasting. This is a present for a teen. I'm hoping she'll enjoy it as much as I did.
This was purchased for my 8-month-old daughter. We wanted to start him off on a non-obnoxious instrument that is simple for a baby to "play" (beat in a haphazard manner). He prefers to eat the sticks above all else, but we "play" it for him instead, and he's getting the hang of heating it! We enjoy the sound it produces and anticipate him playing it for a long time.
This was a Christmas present for my fiancée, who plays the keyboard and the bango. This drum is a favorite of his. It gives his music a new dimension.
