I don't think it does. My first purchase of this product was convinced that it would fit the Meinl 12, but in fact the bottom diameter of the skin is too wide. Don't waste your money on a 5" lug tuned headliner djembe
There is no measure of the diameter of the metal rim. It is measured by the diameter of the actual head where it rests.
The conga diameter should be the same to ensure the same results as well. Don't worry if you feel the head shifting as you screw down the conga's rim. It feels a little wobbly at first when changing the head. I wish you the best of

My djembe is a 5-inch lugtuned headliner, and this skin was conceived for congas, and it won't fit my djembe because it's intended for congas, not synthetic djembes. As a result, the skin is lying around on the shelf and my djembe does not have a skin or head. IMPORTANT You should only buy this if you have a 12 no other size will work. This is a 5-inch conga 2) do not attempt anything else unless you are confident that it will.
These are the best of the conga heads. You did a great job.
All aspects of the product were as described. My favorite part of it is the color scheme.
