In a nutshell As a birthday present for my 15 year old son, I gave him this speaker. The device literally gets used every day by him. My son's phone works well with it, and the bass is adequate for its size. It plays loudly and has decent bass for its size. A nighttime view of these lights will impress anyone. I really like how they bounce up and down to the beat. While I teach my son basketball, he plans on taking the speaker with him to the park. Upon asking him how long the battery would last, he responded that it would last a very long time. You can also plug it into the wall to charge the battery while you use it. It's pretty lightweight which is surprising because The karaoke function does not get much use from my son. I really love how small and portable this speaker is, and how good the sound is. The sound is awesome, and it is very light weight. - Not sure what the other reviewer means by saying he didn't like the sound There was a volume adjustment to be made on both the speaker as well as the device that was connected to it. I bought it as a gift for my parents. In all cases of electronics for gift giving, I take the product out of its box to ensure it is in good working order. The only inconvenience is that there is only one plug for a microphone but I am planning to buy a second one to connect to the auxiliary plug. Only problem is that it cannot be used with two microphones, so it has already caused a few arguments with our group. This is a great deal for the price, however! We'll also be able to use it as an outdoor speaker this summer while we're in the pool besides being a karaoke machine for the kids.

I was looking for a device that met all of my requirements except for Alexa compatibility. There is a lot of sound, but it isn't strong enough for a listener. In a previous review, there was talk about bass I live in an apartment, so I didn't want bass that rattled my walls. Two days before expected, the speaker was fully charged when it arrived. I couldn't charge my iPhone 12 plus on the USB but I was able to charge the USB ring light. I found this product to be generally good. The mic is lacking, but since I do not use it, it isn't a big deal to me.
