It works with other apps, but the Bluetooth doesn't work with all of them for some reason (depending on which app), so I have to plug the iPad into the aux outlet. I believe there are too many cords. I would have chosen a cordless microphone-compatible app if I had known the app required a subscription to access the majority of the songs. I think they try to sell you on the fact that it comes with an app, but it's pretty useless if you want free access.
It's essentially a high-powered Bluetooth speaker with a built-in microphone. Auxiliary input is also an option. The sound quality was excellent for the price, and it played music from both my phone and my daughter's tablet.
Hello, whatever you put on your tablet or phone will be displayed on it. The sound will come out of the speakers and your microphone will allow you to sing along once you have connected your bluetooth device, which is simple. Personally, I prefer to watch YouTube on my television with my surround sound speakers and then sing along with the Singing Machine.

I recently received a new Tabeoke machine from Singing Machine, and I must say that it is a lot of fun! My kids were all over it from the moment it arrived on our doorstep. I have to say, it's a pretty cool little product, with the ability to sing karaoke through your phone or tablet, or through an "aux" jack that plugs into our CD player or iPod. We've tried every method and they all work. My 5-year-old son thinks he's a rock star and walks around the house as if he is. My older daughter, who is eight years old, adores Taylor Swift and knows all of her songs by heart. She and her friends had a party here at our house the other night, and everyone participated, including my wife, who has a terrible voice! Oh, and this has an extra mic jack, so we bought the extra mic (which I highly recommend) so two people can sing together. We did a "Sonny" song from back in the day. At our dinner party the other night, we played a song by Cher! My neighbors were envious of me. It comes with one microphone, an echo button, a mic volume button, and a bluetooth pairing button, as well as a small shelf in the front to rest your tablet on. This is a fantastic product that is well worth the investment. We're thinking about getting one of Singing Machine's new digital products for Christmas so we can download songs from their karaoke website. Singing Machine has a lot of great karaoke options. I'd give it zero stars if I could, because we only used it two times to play from my iPhone and it worked perfectly. We then put it away because our daughter was uninterested in it. I brought it out again yesterday, and no matter how hard you try to connect to it, the speaker will not play. Bluetooth, aux cord, audio out, and even mic 1 and mic 2 are all options. $42 spent in vain. I'm looking for information on how to file a complaint. We take extremely good care of all of our belongings and I know 111000% that this machine has been damaged.
The volume fades in and out, and it stopped working six months after purchase. We bought a new aux chord because I thought it might be the issue. That didn't solve the problem because the problem is with the machine itself, and it's now too late to return.
This was not a six-month experiment. It doesn't work at all, and it won't turn on. It wouldn't work with the plug at first, so we switched to batteries, but it stopped working there as well.
Karaoke for kids of all ages. When you consider the overall size of the device, it doesn't get as loud as you might expect, and the audio quality is adequate, but the included microphone is terrible. We also purchased a second microphone from the same manufacturer (Amazon search: ). B000XI6O2W) for the other of our children. It's four times louder than the built-in microphone, which is annoying. We'll have to buy a new microphone to replace the one that came with it. Aside from that, the device is straightforward and simple to use. My children enjoy listening to children's nursery rhymes on YouTube through Bluetooth. I'm going to buy a small PA system with wireless mics for future needs, but it won't be from Singing Machine.
The item arrived in perfect condition and on time, exactly as promised. There are none to speak of. It was a huge hit with my grandchildren. They enjoy singing, but the volume was low, and there was no way to boost it. The speakers were a little shaky, and the microphone could have been a little more durable. It was fun for the kids for a while, but after 6 months, it stopped working. It was no longer able to turn on.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but this item, along with a picture frame, was shipped with a heavy item. The karaoke machine did not fare as well, as the machine and all of its parts were taken from the original box. I'm hoping it continues to work. I can't wait for Christmas to arrive!.
