Have you figured out what's going on here? We recently purchased one and are experiencing the same problems. Bolt is unyielding in his refusal to move. Thanks!
The platform is 16 inches wide. 8" x 12" Check the length and width of your laptop to see if it's less than 16 inches. 8" x 12" 6 inches (I'm assuming the screen's diagonal length is 17 inches, so the laptop's width is smaller).
This heavy-duty portable workstation has a shelf on which I keep my MacBook and a mouse pad. The stand easily supports the computer's weight as well as the pressure from my hand resting on the mouse pad. I have two more shelves, each of which can hold three items. Securely holds 5 pounds. The stand's tubing is significantly thicker than that of a microphone stand, making it extremely stable.
It depends on the thickness of the devices immediately following the male USB connector, but I've never had a problem with standard dongles protruding from the platform's edge while the laptop is on it.

The platform's hinge was bent during shipping, so I had to straighten it out with my tools before putting it together. After that, the stand should be fairly stable. Because the pivot only moves along one angular axis (pitch), it's difficult to use as a projector. There isn't any way to change the direction of the roll - Because of the lack of this adjustment, if the floor or screen is tilted, you'll have to accept it. The yaw angle is adjustable by rotating the stand. br>br>Overall, this is more of a laptop stand than a projector stand.
I also have a bigger (15. 63" x 10. Laptop with a 17. 5" display (24") and a 17. 5" display (24"). Screen size: 3" I wasn't let down. br>br> My apprehensions had been assuaged. br>br> For starters, the base of this laptop stand measures approximately 17x15 inches, so it will fit most laptops (even those with a 17. 3-inch screen). 3" screen size, like mine), with a little extra room around the edges. br>br>In addition, it only has three parts and took me three minutes to put together on my own. The stand is very sturdy, and it's simple to adjust:br>br>• Adjust the height with the middle knobbr>• Adjust/tilt the stand with the top knobbr>• Extend/extract the legs with the bottom knobbr> br>br>*By the way, regardless of how tall or short you are, it will be the perfect height for you. br>br>Overall, this is an incredible product that is exactly what I needed and fits my laptop perfectly. It's exactly what I was looking for, and I'd give it a five out of five. a score of 0 0 stars.
I don't normally write these, but this stand impressed me. It took me less than a minute to set it up, and I could tell right away that it was designed to handle gigs and other tasks. It's the best bang for your buck, and it's an Amazon Basic! Amazon Premiums is a better name for it!.
I purchased it to use with my laptop so that I could stand while giving a Zoom presentation. I was dissatisfied, especially since I didn't have to return it and get a replacement. I used super glue, tape, and a vice grip to secure my laptop, hoping it wouldn't crash in the middle of my meeting. I'm not sure if the box was dropped in handling because it wasn't damaged, but based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend it.
I really want to like this portable desk because it is so affordable and meets all of my requirements. I couldn't help but give it a one-star rating. Because it is unusable in its current state, it receives a one-star rating. To keep your laptop from falling off, there is a ledge that runs around the top. This is completely encircled on three sides, with three sides on the outside. The fourth inch is 4 inches. This leaves a very small area for your wrists to rest while you type. My wrists would quickly become sore whenever I attempted to use it. I finally decided to get a piece of wood and cut it to fit inside the lip area. This adds weight, but it's the only way I'm going to be able to use it.
I would strongly suggest it. This is a good product. I bought a cheaper projector stand but had to return it because it wasn't sturdy enough, so I decided to spend more money on this one, which is very sturdy. It sits high and low at its lowest point, but it's perfectly functional, especially since it can be tilted. To ensure that my projector's leg is straight, I must prop it up. A thin piece of foam is all I need. I bought it primarily to watch outdoor movies and needed something sturdy, which it is. It works perfectly and is now permanently installed behind the sofa. Simply add a few dollars to your budget. It'll be well worth your time to read this one. It's big.
This thing can certainly hold a lot of weight, but the actual surface is disappointing. The stand itself is sturdy and appears to be capable of supporting even more weight, but the surface is a little thin. It clearly supports my old and heavy MPC 2000XL, but there is a wobble when I actually hit the pads - Only at the platform does the stand wobble; otherwise, it is rock solid. With the Maschine mikro, there was a lot less wobble. br>br>5 stars because it still has excellent build quality and can support anything from a laptop to music equipment that doesn't require you to press any buttons to play. It would be unbeatable value and could work better with drum pads if they made a version with a thicker / stronger platform.
This stand comes at a great price, is simple to put together, and includes a phone holder. However, when it reaches its maximum extension height - or a close approximation of its peak - This stand tilts slightly, and because I'm using it for a zoom exercise class, my instructor always thinks my posture is off and that I'm the one tilting to one side! I also have a keen eye for crooked wall hangings, so this stand drives me crazy every time I use it! Because I'm supposed to hold my head high and look straight ahead while in my various positions, I need to use it at close to maximum height. Just be aware if it is important to you. I didn't think I'd need the phone holder, but it allows me to video myself performing the routine and assess my form later. This would be a fantastic stand if it weren't for the tilt.
