I tried switching to a felt mat, and the results were similar. As well as leaving the mat off, I considered setting the vinyl directly on the glass platter, but I was uncomfortable with the prospect. Having read the benefits of Acrylic mats, I was hesitant to use them on my vinyl as I couldn't be certain the weight would not The solution is It has a slight recess in the center for helping to better press the vinyl against the platter that the weight is set on top of. Initially launched as a run of warped images, this campaign has We have resolved all of the vinyl issues, and we have smoothed out the slight warp in the vinyl. So, I have no need to worry about my platter getting scratched, and my vinyl hasn't been damaged either.

This mat appears to be flat and is in great condition

They were quick to arrive and most importantly, they were flat. The Scott PS 97XV has been used. A little bit of crispness has been added to the bass. microfiber dust cloth so that it can be cleaned properly before being used to play a record.

Although I am satisfied with the rubber and cork mat on my other Thorens turntable, I'm not satisfied with the cork and rubber mat on my new Technics SL 1210 mk7. It has replaced my old mat and I am really happy with it. The finish is beautiful (and it is not immediately obvious), giving the sound a sharp edge and a deep, deep Furthermore, it almost attracts the record like a sucker and stabilizes it almost like a sucker would. I like it a lot.

My feel mat that was included with my turntable was not thick enough to protect my acrylic platter, so I used this product instead. The bass is tighter than my felt mat, using this tray works great.
