I find this mat to be amazing. It is slightly better than a felt mat for the sound, but visually it is the best thing I have found to make my turntable look great when there are no records playing.

Although static discharge will continue to be debated regarding acoustical improvements, it has certainly been reduced in recent years. A super design on all of them. Any turntable can be upgraded with this simple, elegant upgrade.
