The effect is super cool, especially when playing a clear(ish) record and rotating the record along with it.
It's really thick and very nice quality. The spinning effect is really awesome.
The design is terrific and it accomplishes what it is supposed to.
In the event that you only play black vinyl records, a turntable mat with a cool design doesn't really add anything to your experience. Perhaps it looks good when it is not in use, and you can spin it around with no record in it and get lost in the patterns. Beyond that, it works best for those with a wide variety of shades of color There are those who play vinyl and 45s, as well as those who play cassettes. Organizing sounds more efficiently, 'better listening', and so on are advertised among the benefits. Although I'm not an audiophile enough to tell the difference between the sound of the same LP on the cork mat versus the rubber mat I've been using, my impression is that the cork mat sounds better. There is a slight difference if there is one. I would recommend it if you are in need of a new turntable mat or want one that looks nicer.
It's a no-brainer I'm truly impressed with both the quality and the benefits When you have a vinyl that's clear, it really stands out. As well as providing a more even base for playing music, it prevents the vinyl from moving when it is being played. Basically it has the same thickness as a vinyl anyway, it is just a bit thicker. I love how well the cork finish works and fits nicely on the vinyl player spindle. Overall, the design and pattern are good and I'd say this is a great alternative to the cheaper turntable mats that I have seen.
