Selected User Reviews For Record Master 3mm Anti-Static Turntable Cork Slipmat
Not sure if there are any issues in general, but there are some records where there appears to be a lot of static. Cork mats are advertised as reducing static electricity, so I guessed that at $12 they would be worth it. If you can get it for 99, it might be worth it. This vinyl is nice and thick (3 mm), with a thin spot around the middle to accommodate the record label, which allows it to rest flatter on the table. It is clear from my problem records that the amount of static electricity has greatly reduced. Then that is great in its own right. In addition, it is supposed to improve bass and imaging, as well as make better contact and reduce vibration. Regardless, as I am uncertain of its use, since it is difficult to easily compare it to the felt (by the time the mats are switched and the record is put back on, it is difficult to identify if overall sound is better or worse). It looks and feels great, however, and it also helps with static, so really, it doesn't make sense not to try it out.
I had wanted a cork slip mat for quite some time but did not want to pay upwards of $30 for it. As soon as I saw the positive reviews of this item, I decided to give it a try. That is a decision I am very glad I made. Immediately, my sound improved, and I could tell that it was It is a pleasure to hear the "sound floor" on my records have gotten considerably quieter, and static has disappeared This is a highly recommended book. It's hard to go wrong when it comes down to quality and price.
Since I had come across similar products that claimed to have anti-bacterial properties, I was skeptical of this product when I first saw it A static image. There aren't many like this and it's a great price.
There is no real anti-Semitism involved here, to the best of my knowledge Its thick material does not leave much room for my stabilizing weight, and its diameter is almost exactly the same as a record, making it too difficult to remove just the record.
A simple record mat at a low price. My favorite part of the label is the recessed area. The different types of tests I've tried haven't worked. Over the past years, we've tested several mat materials and find this one to be great - doesn't attract excessive dust, is also affordable, and is available in several colors.
The thickness is suited more for those listening to vinyl at home, though I dj and there is no slip to it. While it did what it says, it was not a good fit for my needs, but on a brighter note, it did what it said it would do.
Honestly, I can't imagine anything that can be disliked about a good all-around The piece around the.
