Although, I have noticed that my 17-inch laptop has a tendency to slide off the stand. In order for it to stay in place I have to tilt it down. This actually leads to me tilting it a bit more than I would like because my view of the mixer is blocked. In my opinion, the Hercules stand makes me feel much safer when I keep my 13-inch or 15-inch laptop on it as it feels 100% solid and it is a wonderful product!
You might not have an issue mixing with large format mixers but with smaller mixers you may not have an issue. This stand has rubberized tips on the feet that may cause a problem.
There might be a chance, as I have not seen it done in any club with cdjs and this stand. I use it for a 12 inch touchscreen laptop, sometimes in touch (pad) style, sometimes open with a Thanks a lot

However, it worked out for me, and I have no regrets about it at all. As this stand is made like a tank, it is very stable Right now I only use it for my lightweight SurfaceBook, but you could easily use this stand for a huge laptop as well. You can adjust so many things about it, and each position is solidly locked in. Its "stepladder" height adjustment made it so that it would never suddenly drop onto an expensive controller and damage it. It was extremely simple to set up, and I found it equally easy to fold up, which I consider far superior to another type of design that involved unscrewing and then reassembling parts-which made it nearly impossible to set up. When folded, it is extremely slim, so it easily fits in the pouch inside my controller bag. It is a one piece design, so it is very hard to lose, separate, or misplace. This is a good one!.

It is heavy weight, adjustable, and fit my 17 inch gaming laptop quite well with little problem. Would recommend to anyone who wants space under their laptop for other devices, such as an external keyboard, mixer, DJ equipment, small controllers, or synths. It is really nice to have a laptop stand like this. I really like the way it is made, it's There is a carrying case that can be folded up so that it can be transported easily. The first time I opened it, I got frustrated trying to set the arms and legs to where I wanted them, but I figured it out and now it works just fine. A YouTube video showed me how to move the arms and legs. I can fit my gaming laptop on it easily, and if you have experience with gaming laptops especially ones with a DVD drive, then you know they can be a bit bulky.
