Correction to my previous post: I only own laptops with a screen size of 17 inches. For laptops of this size, this case is not suitable. br>However, this case will work well for Tablets, and I always make sure to measure my device. Take a look at how dark it is on the inside. in the event of a case that is one-of-a-kind My device is two inches larger.
The two I received didn't come with a lock or a key. I imagine you could use your own external padlock; I got mine without thinking about shipping or anything else.
No, the top cannot be removed because the hinge is open. Lean back another 30 degrees from the photo position to free the top. It would stay attached if there was a way to stop it in that position.

I had no idea that the top of this case has hinges that allow it to be completely removed. There's even a picture of the top open at an angle that you won't be able to replicate because the lid will come out of the hinges. Nice case, but I'm disappointed that the specified hinge issue was not mentioned in the description; otherwise, I would not have purchased this case.
I bought this for my guitar rig as a metal, heavy-duty pedal board. Forget about those flimsy cloth bags; this thing is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy You should purchase one if you are 100% satisfied.
Excellently made flight case with plenty of foam padding on the inside that can be easily cut to fit your needs. I also added some electrical and XLR plugs/jacks to the sides of my case to create a custom case and user platform for my touchscreen monitor, which I use with my surfaceless audio sound system mixer.

It's fantastic in every way. All of the foam padding you could want is included, and the interior sides are rubberized as well. The locking system is extremely reliable. It even has rubber feet, so you can put it on its side or with the handle up, and it will rest on rubber feet. The top is removable, and it's exactly what I was looking for in a mixing board for my band; I'm very pleased with my purchase!.
Knowing that my equipment is safe gives me peace of mind. It's great that there are extra foam padding sheets included. There is a score!.
