This is merely a top-mounted plastic protector. br>br>With regard to the OP- Yes, the 1, which is sold separately, can be used as a midi controller (to control the VST instruments in your DAW) or as a line in recorder (to record audio generated by your OP-1).
Please accept my condolences if you are feeling this way. It's possible that you'll have to do some homework. Yes, it's just a case, but it does a fantastic job of covering and protecting the $800 musical instrument.
It works on mine, though it's a tight fit.

This appears to be more of a dust-cover than a case to me. Obviously, the unit's bottom is still visible. It also doesn't (repeat, doesn't) snap onto the OP. According to some, the number one is. I'm in possession of an OP- There is only one reissue, and the cover is loosely affixed to it. So you'd have to wrap it in rubber bands or something if you wanted to put it in a bag. I like how you can flip the case over and prop it up on the bottom when you're playing. It appears to be in good condition, and the color is a smoky grey rather than clear. It's also convenient that the ports are visible, so you don't have to unplug anything while it's running (i. e. if it's connected to a DAW or is being charged). It's a bit pricey for what it is. I almost regret not opting for a soft case, such as the official TE case. However, because I only use mine at home, this is likely the best option for me. The plastic feels very sturdy, though I imagine it would get scratched if I carried it around in a bag. So, before you go out and buy something, keep these considerations in mind. It is exactly what it is, and it isn't exactly what it isn't.
I've had my decksaver for a few months and I'm quite pleased with it. Mine is a tight fit. It doesn't snap on (it's not supposed to!). ), but I'm confident in my ability to keep the OP- 1 is upside down and will not fall off unless I give it a good shake or give it a good bump with my fingers. )br>br>When I store it, I usually wrap it in a rubber hair band to keep it from falling off. br>br>I also discovered that if you turn it upside down and put your OP- in the middle, it works great. 1 on it. It gives it a tilt and a place to rest when not in use (if you don't put something like a piece of cloth beneath it, it will easily rotate to the left and right):.
This was obtained in order for me to toss my OP- 1 in a laptop bag for on-the-go jamming In my case, being on the go (for the time being) simply means moving some gear from my home studio upstairs to the living room couch downstairs so I don't disturb my daughter while she's in her room and having trouble sleeping through the night. br>br>I would put this in a bag for a short period of time and move it from place to place when you know you won't be in a hurry and can be careful, but I wouldn't put it in a bag without also putting a cover around the entire OP- 1 if I were to take it out of the house and carry it around every day. br>br>This is fantastic for when you haven't played music in a long time and just want to keep the OP-ing going. 1 free of dust to prevent those lovely keys from becoming clogged. It works well with most soft cases, as well. I haven't been able to come up with many good hard cases for the OP- As a result, using this in conjunction with a soft case would be sufficient protection. You'd be able to toss the OP if you wanted to. If you had both, you could put one in a bag and feel safe. br>br>I really like how the Decksaver has a suction cup-like feel to it. It actually fits so well that it's airtight, and by lifting the Decksaver alone, it can partially lift the entire unit. Of course, it's not meant to fit so tightly that it becomes a case, so you'll have to figure out a way to keep the cover on when you're carrying it in your bag. It mostly stays in place, but I've been using the OP-supplied rubber bands to keep it in place. Because they're a little too big and loose, I wrap them around the OP- 1 and Decksaver at an angle to keep it in place while I'm carrying it in my bag. br>br>I would have given this 5 stars if it hadn't come with a scratch near the corner closest to the built-in mic. I don't think it affects the unit's integrity or fit, but for $50, I'd expect a product without a scratch.
The OP-specific fit has been created. 1 and flexes or snaps into the OP- Only the keys and knobs are covered in this version. You can pick up the OP- because the fit is so snug. 1 right next to the cover, and the input jacks are still accessible while it's in place. If you need to charge it, this is convenient. When I'm not using the OP-II, I almost always keep the cover on. 1, as if you were using a turtable dust cover. I haven't tried it, but the plastic appears to be sturdy enough to allow you to sit on it safely. The color is a transparent smoky grey that was made in the United Kingdom. If you were going on an OP-related trip, you'd want to bring this with you. 1. I don't think you'd have any trouble throwing it in a duffle bag or briefcase, though you might want to wrap it in a teeshirt or cloth to keep the paint off the OP- 1 to keep it from being scratched by other items in the bag and to keep the case from popping off. One reviewer mentioned that they like to use the silicone wristbands as straps to keep it in place, so that's another option.
This cover is available for purchase. Until I received this polycarbonate cover, I thought it was an overpriced luxury. Now that I have it, I am grateful for it and impressed by its quality. It is a perfect fit. It matches perfectly with my OP-X in all four corners. 1. Exactly what you'd want, with just a smidgeon of friction or grab along the sides. I'm confident in the level of protection provided by the shape. I haven't decided on a case yet, but I think I'll go with the Meme because it has cutouts that will fit around this cover.
It's a perfect fit for my OP- It's difficult to say whether other reviewers received a faulty item, but the one I received works as advertised. I expected it to just be a loose cover, but it actually adheres to the OP- 1 is snug enough that I can use it to lift the unit up. It's made of tough polycarbonate and will keep your thousand-dollar investment safe. It's something I use in addition to the.
The OP- 1 is ridiculously expensive, and I'm guessing you'd like to keep it in good working order. I don't need a case because I'm a hermit who doesn't leave his room, but I did want to protect my OP- I have one on my desk that I can access. This is exactly what I needed. Not only that, but the knobs have small Lego wheels on them, and the cover still fits. 💥.
It is sensible. This product is great, but it could hug my OP1 a little better. This is a bit pricey for what it is and does, but we have other options with the OP- These days, one's options are pretty limited. In any case, I'm pleased with my purchase.
