How long does it run on a 24/7 basis? What does it do when it goes to sleep?

The device does not go to sleep in the conventional sense, it would be like a laptop going to sleep for a few minutes. I think it goes into standby after a few minutes of inactivity. If you're not planning to use the device for a long time, there is no reason to take out the batteries.

The receiving of errors is constant

This is the I received a continuous stream of receiving It seems like teenage engineering has sample packs, but I always get an error message when I try to use them. I am able to record with the line in from any device with an aux input, but it can't take in entire files as I would think. A five-star review would mean that it worked 100% of the time.

You can record up to 40 seconds of sounds and effects with this. It's interesting to make sounds with this, but it can be hard to figure out exactly what you are doing when you're playing. Using this in a live set would be very challenging to do.
