Questions & Answers

Can you record live sounds instead of importing them from an external source into your sequence? I mean, can you save sounds from an external source so that you can later use them?

The only thing that can be saved is the current state. For use only in real life

Could anyone tell me if the power supply included in this daisy chain is compatible with it? Here's the link Visit the website. The Amazon website. Go to https//kvgear.com/ This is Daisy- In a chain This splitter splits What is dp/b07fxv2nx6?

When I bought my volca bass, it came with a KA-33 Use the 350 power supply with this daisy chain, as it is the model referenced. However, I have not actually used it myself, so I can't say for certain whether it would work. You will do well!

Can you tell me how many instrument sounds it has?

There are probably not as many instruments as I thought, but there is almost an infinite amount of sound options. It's awesome. I got dexed and downloaded a bunch of patches from it.

Selected User Reviews For Korg Volca Bass Analogue Bass Machine Bundle with Power Supply and Austin Bazaar Polishing Cloth

The majority of our feelings are love (with a few hates thrown in)
4/5

My favorite kind of drum machine is the drum machine Those are the ones I can't seem to get enough of. Volca Drum is a great percussion synthesizer, which is extremely flexible and a lot of fun. I am impressed with the power of this device. The majority of my issues with the Volca line is simply due to Korg's design decisions. There is a lot to love about I. - Y ou got it? There is no doubt that this is the most important factor, as this thing is capable of producing all sorts of different and interesting sounds, both drums and noise The like and not the The Wave Guide effect and the sound design controls allow you to obtain the desired effect. There is also the flexibility of sound design controls. This is the With the Volca, you can step and see what you're doing in real time It has time recording, pattern linking, per step accents, and part muting just like the big boys. As well as choking, randomization, motion sequencing "slice" and "step jump" options to change patterns, it provides a wide range of options. If you're looking for unique, then you've come to the right place. * * *- You can use it easily. Having the Volca as its design, this is one of the smallest drum machines around, if not THE smallest. Therefore, you can create beats almost Although I generally use the power adapter, it runs off batteries and even though it doesn't have a great speaker, it's still great for creating beats without the need of headphones or an external sound system. This is a product you can't go wrong with * * *- They are knaves. This little stalk knob looks like it was made to be a knob, but it isn't. That is one of my main problems with the entire Volca line. Upon closer inspection, they feel (and even look) like a potentiometer stem from which a knob has been removed. It is very awkward to operate most Volcas, especially if you have medium- to large-sized hands (just check out some of the YouTube videos). It also looks cheap and tacky. Volcas with real knobs (like the Volca Bass) have a tough time making noise, but they do anyway. They have a small form factor, but there's still enough room for them. * * *- It is midday. There is a 1/8" sync In and an 1/8" sync Out on the Volcas, but there is only a MIDI We would have liked to have had a Midi Out or thru.

- It is documented. Then to top it all off, Korg continues using these weird one-note patches The "manuals" for electronic devices that indicate the features of the devices but do not provide much useful Arturia provides a valuable lesson that both of these companies could learn from This is a company that knows how to make a good product manual (and they will also make great knobs)! It is good to know that YouTube is a good place to learn about some important features of this amazing instrument. There is a mod you can do on the stalk knobs, however it requires some work and there are a couple of tradeoffs. (Update 1/12/20)

I learned that you can do a code modification to them. It is off. In Youtube, there's a guy who shows how you can make a small knob with a set screw fit pretty well on the Volca stalks by inserting a plastic drinking straw as an inner sleeve (search for Volca Knobs on Google or YouTube). Amazon and found that the Kaish brand has a 10 piece set of scalloped knobs, which might work as well as an inner sleeve (tweaking still needed in this regard). Their construction is quite nice, they come with a position marker and a set screw, and even the screwdriver is of good quality. With this mod, you can conceal any lighted knobs if you choose an opaque knob (they are available in several colors), but Kaish also offers these knobs in clear (available directly from Kaish on It should be noted that these particular knobs may or may not hide an important part of the information described by them. In my early tests, I saw that the Kaish knobs were reliably clearing the text the majority of the time. As before, it is just a tradeoff It's not on. It seems that Amazon is no longer allowing product links to its Amazon products, so I am unable to include the link for these knobs.

This product passes the test in terms of price and functionality, but not in terms of compatibility (Beatstep users, beware)
4/5

As a starting point, I want to point out that most of my negative points do not intend It is with no doubt the most powerful polyphonic synth for the price point that it carries. It has too much functionality for too little money to pass up on, so you wouldn't want to pass it up if you were new to analog synthesis. As a midi controller like the BSP (or other analogue controls) is concerned, this review is aimed at those who already own analogue equipment. First, let's take a look at I like the sound of this.
2) Has every vanilla-flavored- part you would want in your song
3) Can make all sorts of noises -you can use them in your song
4) Can put together any noise you want
A style filter that gives you more than you expected The pros are mostly issues I had with the Beatstep pro just before I spilled beer on it (bSP) and broke it 1) Has number of display options including frequency, resonance, attack, decay, etc. 1) It is virtually impossible to use the MIDI clock functions with this device. wish to operate the clock, the volca must be your main clock in order to do so Due to the Volca clock running twice as fast as most MIDI clocks, this can be problematic. Therefore, in order to get your BSP to work with the device, you need to either make the programs play only eighth notes or make the volca play loops that are about one half note long in order to compensate. You will lose your mind if you attempt to use the Volca's MIDI clock in feature -- it will randomly go off and make you lose your mind. In my opinion, this is not an issue. The device doesn't have a keyboard, so I am able to plug my MIDI keyboard into it and then play both devices at the same time. This is just something to note, since the keyboard on the device is not working The midi keyboard AND an in-ear monitor will work if you use either one. By switching from a synth keyboard to a bass keyboard you can do some cool stuff with chords or 3) There should be at least one additional note of polyphony (than the current three). In my opinion, this device should not be given a 5 star rating by piano players over a 4 star rating by other piano players. It has received 5 star ratings on Amazon from enthusiasts of synth music. It takes six keys to play the piano The most basic form of polyphony is 7 notes. It must be six chords polyphony for two simple triad chords piled on top of each other. There is no way to play 7th or 9th chords with this, which is basically half of the selling point of using a piano (not to mention the rhythm potential)

Final thoughts In much the same way as the timbrewolf is a great LFO synth with terrible effects, this device is a perfect LFO synth with inadequate controls. Although I have a major complaint with this machine, one which stands out above all else is its inability to play nice with other devices, it is far more than worth the price at less than $200. PS - simply connect the device to something that can output midi to avoid literally any of the issues I discussed. $70 to $80) The fix costs $300.

The stuff we like
5/5

The site has a lot of information about analog synths. The stuff we like. My goal with this is to learn about analog synthesizers. Do not expect it to be everything an analog synth can do, since it is affordable. The Prologue does not begin the story. Therefore, I have listed the cons below. It takes some time to get used to the keys. Using a midi controller is the best way to do this. A bit of a limitation is the sequencer as well. In the meantime, try out the DAW or step sequencer if you have access to one, and see what works for you. Last but not least, this is a very As an example, there are only two ways you can modulate sound waves from VCOs using the LFO. Although these flaws exist, I can overlook them and still recommend this product on the basis of its price. Thus, if I were purchasing this today, I would consider an upgrade in the near future, but that decision would come only after using it for a while. As a result, I would not have known this had I not purchased it and given it a chance to play around My mind runs to the possibility that I would purchase this as a test to see if I like analog synthesizers, purchase it, and not like it. Even if I had to pay a great deal in that event, at least I had to spend a reasonable amount. Instead of saving up for an analog synth, if I had purchased a more expensive one and found that I didn't like it, I would have lost even In addition to that This is really weird That's all I have to say. This substantiated the value of the course and encouraged me to pursue more learning.
