If you simply want to connect your MIDI keyboard to a computer, a MIDI to USB device such as the Yamaha UX-USB is all you'll need. Roland UM- 16 One MKII or a similar model. Hello, it should be fine; it isn't on the list of devices that don't provide enough power, and that is the OLD list, prior to the product's re-release.
