Questions & Answers

What would it take to use this as a midi controller This looks more fun than a keyboard for midi, but I just need a midi keyboard for midi. ?

Although it works as a midi controller, I must admit there are far better keyboards than this in this (and far less) price range that are meant for this type of application. Despite its small size, this monophonic synth is amazing. The sound of the analogue era can be found here if you are looking for modern analogue sounds. The assignability of knobs does not make them suitable for midi control, while the pitch bend slider is suitable for use with the on-screen editor It serves its purpose as a mapper, but is lacking much in the way of capabilities for use This product is a great option if you want to create more modern and classic analogue sounds at an affordable price. If you need MIDI control, I recommend something else.

What kind of samples can you import into this synthesizer?

The importation of patches is allowed, but not of It is not a sampler, but a monophonic synthesizer. It is my recommendation that you get the Volca Sample if you wish to sample.

Does it have to be accessed via a laptop to function?

In short, yes. Batteries may also be used in place of a plug. You will hear the sound through headphones or speakers only if you connect them to the monologue, so you don't

It can be adjusted to 432hz, is that possible?

Because of its microtuning capabilities, you should be able to do that.

The little monophonic synth is so incredibly amazing that I can't emphasize it enough
5/5

The little monophonic synth is so incredibly amazing that I can't emphasize it enough. This item is $300. I can't believe it. There's very little here but don't be fooled by its size. Both VCOs have easy access to octaves (for both). You can include these effects via the rate and intensity knobs anyway. The envelope only has attack and decay, but the knobs let you make the effects present nevertheless. This synth doesn't lack much but, when you take into account what's been left out in order to make it such a powerful synth at such an affordable price, it might not have all the bells and whistles you have come to expect in a high-end synth. In comparison to full size keys the keys on the microKorg are much larger than the ones on a full size keyboard. From key to key, it is very easy to navigate This is essential. There is nothing better than the 16 step sequencer. You can access it easily, and it's intuitive. The following is a translation from Richard It is said that James (Aphex Twin/AFX) created some of the presets on this synth and discussed features with Korg's chief engineer (such as Here are some of my favorites The oscilloscope has a built-in display. No matter if you are a seasoned player or just starting out, I am interested in learning more about synthesizers. Using the Monologue will let you gain a deeper understanding of analog synthesis. As soon as you tweak a knob, you can see how the waveforms react. If you shape a square waveform and use a different pulse width for VCO1 then you can see what is actually happening when bouncing a triangle in VCO2 off of a sawtooth waveform in VCO1. Kudos to Korg for a job well done.

It's an analog monobeast
5/5

It's a drum machine that's fantastic. It's also a very capable In case you have researched what this thing can do and seen dozens of demonstrations and still wish to buy it, the only thing left to do is to buy it. This is a deal you won't want to miss! There is no reason not to buy this for the money. A very versatile instrument, the DRUMMING MACHINE can also be used as an analog instrument. This is due to the four-month length of the project You can make fantastic analog rhythms on this synthesizer because of its channel motion sequencing and modulation capabilities. I was just watching some demos of the Moog DFAM (priced at $600) today, and I was surprised at the product's sound capabilities, which are incredibly limited. On the Monologue, all sounds I heard in the demos are able to be recreated. In addition to this, the Monologue is able to create a greater variety and degree of rhythmic complexity than a MOOG specifically designed for this purpose (at twice the cost). Even so, the Monologue's ability to perform monologues alone is not even its primary strength. You can make any type of bass, lead, or pad that you want on this synthesizer, but pad layering is best done in multiple samples (since this synthesizer is only.

Definitely worth checking out if you are new to synths
5/5

My synthesizer has been with me for nearly two years now. In the beginning, I was a complete novice at music and bought this synth as the first device I purchased. You'll find the Monologue easy to use and easy to understand, with instant access to a large number of buttons - including that of a step sequencer. While you may not understand what these devices do when you first use them, you are gradually able to learn what the function of each is. If you are used to other synthesizer sounds (which are typically digital rather than analogue), the analogue sounds may sound a little strange. Perhaps it's not for you, then you might want to watch some videos online. * A little more gear now and we have found its niche as a bass line tool or a soundscape tool ) on a 16-step scale and can be used Worked as a drum machine as well I do not like the settings menu because it is somewhat fiddly to override motion recordings, because it does not contain words like "&" and the entire setting menu contains numbers, not words. It keeps tripping me up when I press certain combinations of buttons.

Minitaur is a better choice for me
5/5

To create modern contemporary praise and worship music, I required a midi bass synth module that could be controlled by bass pedals. I find this to be super flexible, more so than the Moog, and it sounds excellent. All but the most discerning analog connoisseur will enjoy this, and it comes in a great package with great sound, great looks, and a great price. Using batteries is also a favorite of mine It adds life to the platform and prevents another chord from cluttering up the look of the platform. I think it's amazing to have presets at your fingertips, ready and awaiting to be used. I like the Moog, but this is more practical as well.

Probably one of the most underrated synths
5/5

This synth isn't more popular than the Monologue, which is hard to believe. Honestly, just the sequencer alone would cost you $150 as a standalone device, and it can make some insanely gnarly sounds unlike any other synth due to its insanely fast LFO modulation and extra sharp On a USB drive, you can store 100 patches and save, rename, and organize them. With the slider, you can assign any control to it. It feels great to use, the switches work perfectly, the slim-profile is nice They are designed to save space without being too tiny, and you can even have them in your favorite color (I prefer gold). am in love with.

Metal sounds reminiscent of the retro industrial era
5/5

This is a very nice analog This sequencer gives a very retro sound and has a very industrial metal feel. Once you get the hang of it, it is actually easy to program. It is so flexible that even though I'm very cheap, I feel good about spending my money on it. Love the battery option to go wherever I want.

Korgs from ancient times and modern times
5/5

It was a Univox synthesizer that I used when I was a student. This Mini Korg is compact and easy to use. Those were the days when I was in high school in 1975. Despite its heavy build and beautiful sound, it was a heavy wood and metal beast. A small Univox echo chamber, which ran on a tiny 8-bit computer, was also available There are four tracks on the A Mini Korg 2 was one of my favourite instruments in the late 1980s. There are two oscillators (1,2). I loved the way you expressed it! There is no standard synth set up that Korg adheres to, and it seems to be done their own We ended up with sturdy, well made instruments that had an exceptionally deep and distinct The layouts were well thought out, and the programs were very simple to use. Having owned a TS-2000 by Ensoniq for 20 years, I've had no other synth since then The difficulties in 10 frustrated me to the point that I gave On a YouTube video, this little jewel caught my eye. I fell in love with it right away. With it you have the same unique way of making music as with the old Mini Korg. It is a fantastic idea to include shortcuts to the envelope generator. My fascination with the waveform shape came from its shape function. It is also interesting to see the LFO function. There are some limitations to the controls (there are some to some extent), but being able to keep on going The build is solid and the sound quality is amazing. It is totally cute! I want to say "cute" in describing a synth, but it does fit!.
