Questions & Answers

The current switch is a push button. Can I switch it out for a ?

If your unit is modified after installation, we cannot offer warranty to you as well as accept you back if you want to return it. While we stipulate that the toggle switch should work, there is no guarantee that it will

Would a speaker upgrade be possible if the standard speaker that came with it isn't up to the job?

Any warranty that applies to the module is voided once it is modified. After replacing the speaker with a cable that has RCA jacks, I am now able to listen to music. The cable I used to connect the speakers into the amplifier (you can use whatever cable interfaces with your equipment). You can then turn up the volume in order to make your neighbors hate During Halloween, I used it for a setup that yelled, "Get off my lawn." when it was triggered. The kids were afflicted by it in a big way. It is possible to trigger the device in other ways as well.

Should I include this in the back cover of a book? As soon as I asked a few questions, I was going to put a recorder in the back of a Shutterfly ?

There is no doubt that you can use this module anywhere. It is impossible for us to say exactly where you are allowed or not allowed to put things. You need to put it in the proper location in order for it to work, but it is really how you put it. To use this one, press the button for a few seconds

You can record more than one sound, so they play one at a time? Like a different one each time you press the play ?

There is no way for you to. You should record multiple sounds in order on a single long audio clip if you plan on recording multiple sounds. (Press start recording button, then record item 1, item 2, item 3 etc, then press stop recording button) Once you stop the unit from recording, recording is finished. When you hit the playback button, you will hear the first item, the second item, and so on. * If you try to record again, all of your previous recordings will be wiped out.

Great fit for a 4x6 frame and works great
5/5

In a nutshell, In my wife's view, a picture frame should allow her to "push a button and hear one of our sons laugh. " In order to make this project, I bought a $5 frame from Walmart, recorded our son laughing, uploaded it to the module, and stuck it to the back. Great fit for a 4x6 frame and works great.

This is an easy and quick way to add a bit of flair! In a nutshell, Designed to go right out of the box, it's simple, easy to use, and works right away
5/5

In order to make my Chucky doll replica from Trick or Treat Studios more interactive, I wanted to add a voice. This device was thin enough to be concealed beneath the doll's clothes and was small enough to fit into a small pocket. Although I would gladly pay a little more for a model that has a louder sound output or two speakers, the price and functionality for this item are excellent.

This device is convenient and easy to use, and the sound quality is decent
4/5

The 19th of February 2020 is tomorrow At the end of the review, we will provide an update. One of these modules was bought to add recorded voice sounds to the Moebius Models "HAL9000" kit that I am building at the moment. Fortunately, it was the perfect size for fitting behind the speaker grille on the model. In addition to the module and speaker, the both are attached to a plastic sheet which has an adhesive backing with a peel-off protection film overlay. Stick the speaker and module to whatever surface you like by peeling off the film. These three button cells were held in place by bent metal tabs at the bottom of the holders, to prevent them from falling out. However, it means that when it is time to replace those cells when they wear out, you will need to use a small pliers with a "needle" nose to grab the tab and bend it away from the way (and probably leave it like that for now). According to the manual, the wiring for the pushbutton and speaker are very short, so depending on your application, you might have to modify it Any momentary pushbutton with normally open contacts could also be used in place of the factory pushbutton. There is an audio adapter in the kit, to facilitate connecting the module to things like the headphone jack on your MP3 player, the jack on your smart phone, the sound card on your computer. The plug on the module is the one that connects to the adapter If you would like to use another audio cable instead, do so. An additional pushbutton is located on the module itself. It is a tiny red button. As soon as you press it, the module starts recording whatever sound source you are connecting it to. The module will stop recording automatically after 2 minutes if you press the red button two times more, or if you press the red button again after 2 minutes. In the instance where you want to record something partially, pause it, and then continue it, there may not be any way to do so. To play my audio back in my application, I edited it into 2 minutes, sourced it, edited it, and then played it through the sound card of my computer, into which this module was plugged. Getting the audio level right can be a bit of a challenge. The module has no volume control, either for recording or for playback. Recording about 10 seconds of my audio program at a certain volume level on the source (my computer sound card), stopping the recording with the red button, and then playing it back to hear how it sounds, and then repeated this process until I achieved good playback volume A tiny LED indicator would really save me a great deal of time if the module had one, so that I could tell when a clip had occurred during recording. Besides the kit, a pretty comprehensive user manual comes with it. It consists of just 11 steps illustrated with clear instructions. There are also instructional videos on the company's website, and the URLs are provided on the manual's insert page. speaker seems to do a pretty good job with sound, and the volume is decent as well. Neither I nor the module can tell you how long it will play before the batteries begin to drain. I am updating this post on February 19, 2020. As part of the kit, a piece of plastic film is slipped under one of the three button cells (batteries) to prevent them from being discharged before they reach you. The POWER switch on this device does not get turned on, so this piece of plastic seems to be the only way to prevent battery drain while the sound module is inactive. There does not seem to be an easy and clean way to fix this problem, and the instructions do not mention it. If you are not planning to use the sound module for a while, it is hard to return the plastic piece to its place under the battery. After traceing the adhesive sheet of the printed circuit board (PCB) between the three cells of the battery, I found a laminate that was fairly exposed on the top side of the PCB and cut a hole through it with an X-acto knife. Using an Acto knife, I scraped the solder mask from the foil on either side of the cut, then soldered two small wires to the places where the foil had been cut. Connected both ends of the two wires to a POWER switch, I connected the other end to a USB port. In the case that you only plan to use this sound module occasionally, you can leave the three buttons where they are and reinstall it The next time you need to use a sound module, you need to install the cell. Unfortunately, I had to constantly remove and insert the sound module in my project because it was buried too deeply in my project.

With my fingertips, I can now listen to my favorite childhood sounds
5/5

In a nutshell, My grandmother recently commissioned an ornament made in the form of a whippoorwill. It used to be more common to hear their song in the area where we grew up. Sad to say, their song is much less common now. The process of adding a sound to the device was very simple. So easy, in fact, that I found myself rereading the directions and adding the sound one more time As I was watching the video, I wanted to make sure nothing was being overlooked. Not at all. There was no reason for it other than That's not difficult. In the video, you can see a photo of my whippoorwill. I know they're ground-up, but there are a couple things to keep in mind They live there. Although it had never been done before, the talented gentleman who created it created this one as his first. Lastly, the second one, which I gave my grandmother (also with sounds) is sitting on a beautiful piece As a thank you gift, it was all the more meaningful since I was able to add that very specific I want to thank you again for creating this very useful and user-friendly website Component that is friendly.

I rated this as the most EZ recorder chip, but also quite versatile and awesome! I am so grateful that you invented these amazing Sound Modules
5/5

Another company's sound modules have been so discouraging and so depressing for me. HOWEVER, IF YOU DO The games themselves are literally a game The sound recording industry is changing for the better! My projects are so much better and my creativity is so much greater after using these chips. Please note *br/*br/*- My mouse clicks must have been directed to this chip by God BUILD THIS SOUND MODULE TO RULE ALL MODULES. Last time I was this excited to write a review was years and years ago. Please note *br/*br/*- I loved the fact that I was able to record any song I wanted at any volume I wanted. I am not a tech-savvy person at all and was able to record this like a pro! We appreciate you being a part of.

This is an incredibly easy to use program! Simple to use - just plug it in and you're done Create an audio recorder and record to it
5/5

Essentially it is as simple as they describe. Remove the plastic tab, press the button, and you will hear the pre-recorded message Then use your computer, phone, or tablet to queue up the audio you would like to record to this device, connect the double ended headphone jack to the device, connect the device itself to the wall plug, press the record button, and listen to the recorded Click record a second time when your audio is finished. I've done it! If you are using the headphone jack of your device, you will not be able to hear the music or audio that is playing or recording. Please make sure that it is queued up according to your need and you can move forward with Despite the size of the speaker and the size of the board, the sound quality is good, so you can do a fun project with it. I do 3d printing, so I will be using this board in.

I found it too complicated to use, but you might find it useful
3/5

The only adverse factor is that I can't hear the recording while it's happening. And I really like the fact that I can plug it into a device to record. Furthermore, I like the fact that you press the button once and it turns it on and then off, so you are sitting around awakwardly while it plays for two minutes. There was no way to control the volume, it wasn't loud enough for what I was doing with it, and the wiring kept breaking. I think this would work well if it were glued or stuck to a stationary object. When I took that shirt out of the house, the solder on the button wiring broke. I wanted something that would fit in a pocket on my chest, but it didn't last long.
