Good afternoon,br>br>Many thanks for your inquiry about the Yamaha 450 clarinet. br>br>I prefer a plastic or resonite clarinet for a beginner or even a second-year student. Models 255, 250, and 200 from Yamaha are available. Advantage or Model 20 are two options. are fantastic. There are a variety of other models to choose from, including the following: Selmer clarinets are available in a variety of styles. The buffet is fantastic. These clarinets have a good sound, are extremely durable, and are relatively inexpensive. You don't have to be concerned about them cracking as a result of moisture. Grenadilla wood, an African wood, is used to make the wooden clarinets. br>These are high-end instruments that need to be handled with care. If they aren't swabbed after each use, they can crack. as a result of moisture Thank you, Douglashenry, br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b
Buffet is more appealing to me than the clarinet.

Selected User Reviews For Yamaha YCL450 Clarinet with Nickel Keys
Now that my oldest is ten and has just received a saxophone for band, it brought back memories of high school band, so I bought this one because it is the closest thing I could find to what I had. Yamaha produces a high-quality instrument at an affordable price, with a sound that is even better than my previous instrument. Now all I have to do is find a crystal mouthpiece like the one I used to have!br>br>This instrument plays better than my old one, and it doesn't have the squeaky register key that I couldn't seem to fix. The only issue I've had is that one of the large lower pads fell out during cleaning, but that was most likely due to me allowing it to become too wet or over-cleaning it. The glue came loose when I oiled it. I was back in business after a quick trip to the local repair shop for $25. —- I've learned a valuable lesson —- Maintain the cleanliness of your instrument! Even if it means removing the reed and cleaning it with a swab in the middle of a session. br>br>The only other point I'd like to make is that, while Amazon's price is still lower than buying directly from the factory, I got mine for $150 less than it's currently listed for. The price went up the next day after I bought it!.
After a lot of research comparing models and brands, I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy this Yamaha, as it seemed to be the best compromise of price and quality. I'm glad I took the chance. My clarinet has made me extremely happy! It arrived quickly, works flawlessly, and is in excellent condition. I also had a great time working with the seller - He is extremely responsive, helpful, and genuinely cares about his instruments and his customers' satisfaction. I would gladly buy from you again.
I had an issue with one note squeaking that was not an embouchure problem, but it was used and looked almost brand new at a reasonable price. It turned out to be a simple adjustment after a few weeks of frustration and a few trips to the repair shop. Whatever the case may be, everything is now in order.
It has a lovely sound. This clarinet is fantastic. It has a lovely sound. It takes some time to get used to at first, but once you do, it's fantastic.
It was required for a student in the sixth grade band. The item arrived in perfect condition and was exactly as described.
Although this is a good clarinet, a $1200 instrument should have a better case than a hardshell case.
Instrument of excellent quality. Only purchase if it is made in Japan. "Made in Japan" must be inscribed, as well as a serial number. To begin with, it's fantastic.
This was purchased as a present for my daughter. It's something she really enjoys. The tone is also excellent, far superior to that of the squeaky first-year clarinet.
