HI, I would like to make you aware that the Yamaha YEV104NT at this price does not come with a bow or case, but does come with strings and piano
A YEV104 NT is a 4-pin cable with a 4-pin connector Version of the string This is the 5th generation of the YEV105 NT Version (natural) of the string.
As we set up and test each instrument in our shop before shipping, if the violin is ordered through our seller store on Amazon, our luthier will stand up the bridge, shape it as needed, and perform a standard instrument setup (including testing the electronics) before shipping.
The wood base was designed with that in mind. The hook is more subtle and it's not as obvious as it seems. There is no problem with the instrument, either in its performance or use.

Due to the fact that my spouse works at home, I had few options for practicing the violin. My favorite violin was the YEV-II because of the way it looked, so I wanted to try a silent violin or electric violin I've got an instrument number 104, but I don't have an amplifier, and headphones cannot be connected directly to this instrument. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the YEV-A15 provides a decent sound, though relatively silent You can't have a 104 without a power supply! Using my acoustic violin with a practice mute is like playing my acoustic violin with a practice violin. It's comfortable, and is a great fit for my shoulders so I can hear what I'm playing and feel my acoustic like a resonating wood. There is no YEV-related content currently available I am not able to tell the difference between the 104 and my acoustic violin, but it feels the same to me. The violin itself is wonderful. Having a great sound and being able to play it is a great feature. My chin rest cracked the very first time I played with it less than a week after I received it. is a problem that shouldn't have happened and reflects poorly on the violin, the seller, and Amazon. A violin shop in Greenwich, Connecticut, had the instrument tuned and checked so it's ready for playing. It was so nice of them to leave a handwritten note for me.
