There is no doubt that it is a much better version. There is no problem getting intonation with it as opposed to a violin type bass, and it sounds better than the 400 dollar Hoffmann.
Yes, I do have them in my possession, and yes, they strings come out of the machine head side of the nut quite thin at the ends and taper away from their regular thickness about 3/4".
For slap, this bass would not be a good choice.

+In order to hold the viola, it is quite awkward to wrap your arm around. Due to its semi hollow body, this instrument has a very heavy neck. The EB-300 has a neck that matches Epiphone's EB-303 despite its shorter neck length This model will need medium scale strings since the strings wrap across the body of the guitar- It's stunning! You will need a sturdy stand to mount it on. It has a floating bridge that is protected by foam, you have to release the bridge to remove it, then tune the guitar. The foam can either be gently scraped away with a wooden toothpick or by using a scalpel.
There are two reasons why I bought this. My playing experience is limited, so I wasn't interested in spending a lot of money at the beginning. As a fan of Fab Four music of the 1960s, I enjoy looking at the bass style in its magnificent beauty. There is a great finish and hardware on this piece. Besides having that upright bass sound, it is more in keeping with this style of instrument in general. It would definitely be a purchase I would make There is a tendency for it to be heavy on the headstock. In the event you take your hands off it while it is on a strap, it will hang with the tuning keys facing downward. I don't see the problem as a big one.
During the next few days, we will update this review. I have updated. Some critics believe that a guitar made by a master craftsman will perform better than a guitar made by a casual store for $800 or $1500 or $2000. It was around the Epi SG and Gibson SG that I had experience in this matter. After deciding to take playing seriously, my first decent guitar (after acquiring it as a hobby) was an Epi SG. As a result, I was thrilled I have a starter that is different from mine. like the way SG feels in my lap (compared with strat and les paul In the end, it came down to this In the end, I purchased a cheaper Gibson SG. Moreover, man is part of it. It's amazing what a difference there is. I could appreciate the difference better now that I had some idea of what each was. My gibson tends to end a practice session after a few minutes I'm going to pick up my epi and have a few minutes of fun. A friend). Now let's look at today's news This is my first viola (as well as my Thanks to all of the comments here, I was able to make an informed The most important part of sounding good is the following Hof rather than as a community. There is some bass sound (hummers), but not too much. As well as looking beautiful, I expect it to be durable. Fun to play and enjoyable to watch. As a Beatles fan, I am particularly fond of this song. Please accept my sincerest thanks for your assistance. This guitar arrived within 3 days of ordering. The package was delivered safely and intact. There were no problems with the construction It's a beautiful piece of woodwork It has an attractive grain that compliments the instrument! In front and in back Back to you. Everything was set up perfectly for me at the factory It was tuned and ready to go. I expected it to play this way. Recording (as a hobby) has not really required a big cabinet - I just need a decent amplifier. Due to this, I cannot speak on the topic. However, I was able to add a bass track to the loop I have been working on and playing over this past week. Having just gotten used to it, it really sounds pretty good now. Now I just have to master not playing it like a young kid Those are strings. As a result, the backbeat will be nice. Yes, yes, yes So in my opinion, this is the best $299 I have spent in a while. I am certainly not an expert on this. It's a real pleasure for me to play this guitar. Play this game if you like it. You have a good point there. It is beautiful and looks good.
It is hard to believe that this bass is only $299! The bass guitar looks stunning, and it makes me want to buy it. However, I am satisifed with the sound of a hofner even though I have not played one. However, it is highly recommended that you purchase some new strings for it. There is nothing better than the flat wound ones!.
Nice. It was only slightly out of tune when it came out of the box. It tuned up perfectly, plugged in without any problems, and I was pleasantly surprised by it. The tones are sweet and the depth is real. The 1969 Hofner stands alone, but I found the Epiphone to be much more sturdy and toned better than the new Hofner equivalent. I tried the new Hofner of this copy of the original German Bass, and it is much better than the Epiphone. As hollow as the "real thing" might be, they are both heavier. Hofner copy is back to Becker, and Epiphone copy will remain in my possession. The aesthetic quality of this piece makes it a welcome addition to any music room. Take the mini Vox, plug in some nice headphones, and go crazy. If you have any money left, you can buy a Beatle Wig, a Nehru jacket, and take some Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds for a musical adventure. This is the story of a time traveller.
Bass freak out about this one.
