We were impressed with the viola we played, as our teacher noted! In spite of not having any previous experience with violas, I took a leap of faith after reading the reviews
5/5

It is true that they are great reviews but are subjective since most people buying an entry level viola probably don't know which is right and which is wrong. Our viola teacher who has been teaching for 20 years has recommended this exact model to all of his students in the future. In addition to being a quality instrument, he said we didn't believe me when I told him how much we paid- that is an incredible deal! We have been buying stuff on Amazon for a while now and I had to show him our purchase history! We would have had to pay $35 a month to rent near where we live. You might have bought this viola by now if you had waited a while **** Tip - Just imagine my excitement once I got it out of the box, and now I can hear what it sounds like! If you don't have a clip-on tuner, you need to get one. These are the ones we bought From there you can watch videos to learn how you can tune the motor. Furthermore, before the bow can make the sound we love, it needs to be coated with resin. If the resin does not adhere to the bow, you have to scratch it up a bit. In order to make numerous scratches in the resin, our viola teacher used the end of the bow as a scratching tool, then spread the resin liberally on the bow. I was amazed by the capabilities of this viola when we heard it for the first time!.

A great entry level instrument for the price
5/5

Enjoyed the Cecilio CVA a lot. A 16 inch viola with 400 strings. Despite its small size, this instrument manages to keep its tuning remarkably The game is responsive indoors and outdoors in mild weather around a bonfire, and it is responsive in either environment. I was eventually able to purchase a viola of intermediate level It is expected that the intermediate level instrument sounds and plays better than the beginning level instrument. Despite its low price, the Cecilio is a very solid instrument, and it comes with a case, rosin, bow, and extra strings as well. In the case of the Cecilio viola, it is not the case). Now, there is a saying that says "you get what you pay for. ". You won't be satisfied with this instrument if you expect an instrument of intermediate or professional grade. Having a viola of the intermediate level has almost completely replaced the Cecilio, unless I'm at a social event. (I wouldn't want to take my expensive instrument out into the unpredictable The Fender Rhodes is not a bad choice for an entry-level instrument, or as an instrument to play with friends, family, and small gatherings.

*My background I began studying music in grade school and have been playing ever since. My piano experience goes back 20+ years, and I study about 30 hours a week. I took violin lessons for 2 years in middle school and have picked up string instruments again as an adult. However, I am not a violin or viola teacher, so please keep that in mind when reading the above.

Don't buy wood that is less than 100 percent
3/5

I was disappointed with the product and the customer service. I received my order as promised and was able to tune it fine with my tuner, but the strings kept getting loose and as a result we had to tune it a lot before using it. She will play for her school an average of 30 minutes a day. In another 3 months it started sounding different and my daughter complained about her hand hurting, so she took it to her music teacher and he showed her the neck of the instrument was coming apart, causing more space between the strings, which meant she needed to keep pressing harder to stay in tune. As a result, it is not recommended to use an instrument in such conditions as it may injure the muscle. A manufacturer representative called me for some assistance on my bag, 1st they told me they would get back to me in 24 hours , later they told me to send pictures by email, in fact a certified Amazon customer service rep contacted them on my behalf and connected me to the manufacturer In response to my pictures, I was informed that it was just wear and tear and they are not responsible. We have never allowed any of those factors to affect the instrument, nor has it been scratched or dropped ever, even when it is in its carrying It was at this point that I wanted to return this bad product and replace it with one branded one from a local store since my daughter could lose her practice and miss her concerts (it was three times more expensive but I knew it would last). I got $5 less back from the company who sold me the product than what I paid, but I learned a valuable lesson. I found out that the company who sold me the product would not give back any credit. Finally, Amazon offered to help me with returning the product. You do not need to waste your money or even more importantly your time on it, buy locally from trusted retailers.

This is a great game for beginners
5/5

When I asked my professor for his opinion, I settled on this. It was clean and undamaged when it arrived. It came with everything it was supposed to have. It is a very beautiful and vibrant sound, suitable for a beginner, as my music professor has told me. The quality of this instrument is truly remarkable, as I found myself enjoying the design, the gloss layer, and even the price!.

It's one of the best instruments you can buy The viola is suitable for people of all ages
5/5

Getting into the string section is a great way to get started for beginners. With a sturdy fingerboard and a rich, deep tone, it is an ideal instrument for playing. I could not discern the difference between them when played next to a $1,600 viola in my town. For violists who have played for many years on borrowed or rented instruments, this viola is a great choice. Violas of this quality are concert ready. It is impossible to find a better deal at this price point. In addition, to round out my thought, this is the prettiest viola I have ever When compared to the dark brown color of most violas, this one is almost buttery in color. You will not be disappointed. If you buy it now, you won't regret it. If you hadn't done it earlier, you might regret it.
