It has strings that are loose and the bridge is wrapped separately. If you mean that it comes with the bridge already set, then no.
After putting the bridge in place, you'll have to tune it.
The bridge does have to be set yourself, but the bridge itself doesn't need to be set. An instructional video on how to set a bridge on a Viola is available on YouTube.

Does not stick to a schedule, will not buy, and will not pay up for We look forward to seeing you again!.
I found the viola to be in remarkable shape considering the price, and it only had two issues a bridge (too asymmetrical, needs replacing) and a piece of loose wood inside (seems to rattle around and probably needs fixing as well). The rest of the condition is fantastic, and the small repairs are well worth it!.
When I took it to a music store to set it up, I found out it was faulty, and I had to pay $187 for some things that were wrong with it. The repairs I am not doing and I am returning the crappy product.
It's pretty to hear the viola. In my opinion, the case is worth the price, but violas are not recommended for students, particularly beginners. There is such an inadequate number of pegs on one of the scales that the instrument is out of tune.
This purchase did not satisfy me.
We love it. It's perfect in all ways.
The book was a huge hit with my daughter, and she is very happy with it.
