My background is in music (I play woodwinds and not strings) and I know how vital it is to have a good instrument. In any case, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a cello when I was just starting out. For the past few years I have been looking for a cello that I could learn to play, so finding this model at such a low price made it an easy decision. I received the cello in great condition and it arrived exactly as advertised, which was nice considering it was a fragile package and a large instrument. The cello was taken to a local music store so that I could have some assistance in tuning the instrument since I do not have the formal training to do it As the tailpiece of the cello isn't strong enough, the tailpiece falls off when the strings are tightened. They tried tuning the cello but couldn't because it kept breaking when tension was applied to it. In spite of multiple attempts at reattaching the tailpiece, they were still unable to use it properly, and they said that the bridge too was defective, and therefore, it would need to be replaced. I also decided that this cello would not work for me at this point. I haven't gotten far enough to truly test those components like strings and the bow, but it doesn't seem like the rest of the cello needs to be replaced. I think that this cello looks very nice and offers a great deal considering its price. However, be aware that there may be additional costs involved to get the instrument in a playable condition. I would not recommend purchasing this cello if you just plan on picking it up and playing it right out of the box. If you are willing to put some work into it and have experience with musical instruments then it might be worth it.

The quality of the product is definately worth the price. This is not going to be the perfect cello for you if you want a high-quality instrument. I WILL NOT DO THAT. Everything got setup & I am ready to go! In 15 minutes, the tuning was completed. In addition to a floor stand, bow, music holder, and a bag, it comes with a gig I really mean it There seems to be no end to this good news! The piece is also made from real wood. Having read half of my first book on how to play guitar, I'm still enjoying it. You'll have a lot of fun with it, and it looks great. A cello of custom quality will definitely be something I upgrade to one day. It's for sure going to be a gift for someone when I do. You can learn to play it at an affordable price. If you're searching for a high quality cello, low rated posts are probably the best option. It is not one you would hear at your local symphony, however, it is an excellent piece for children, beginners, and minors.

Our luck was not so good. In spite of the box and scratches, our cello arrived with a missing bridge and a big scratch. We decided to follow the advice of many purchasers and take it to our local luthier to be put together and fine tuned. This was a surprise to us since the bridge hadn't been It is said that at first, when they first saw it, they immediately thought "Chinese screamer," but, later, on contacting me after receiving a quote, they said it was not bad We received an Amazon credit of $50 for the bridge and the scratch that didn't appear. A student will benefit from this purchase. As soon as the instructor stepped on the bridge, she said it needed to be adjusted for way too high action. There's a problem with the pegs holding up (peg juice is needed). We changed the strings as soon as we could. It was also a waste of time to use the bow. Apparently, what you pay for is what you get.
