It is not of great quality, but it works for its Buying a cello as a first one can be a great way to see if they like it. That's why we bought it. There are several issues with the sound post, including the thickness and that the plywood is dense, which the upscale store we took it to for installation thought was disappointing, as others on this blog had noted previously. It is very dangerous to trust someone who is trying to shame you into returning the game because the sound isn't good and buying one for a couple times what he charged you. There is no doubt that it is not top quality, but it will do the job. My kid would be disappointed in this cello if it was his second! I'm quite content with it for a 5th grader who just has it to try it out and maybe last for a few years before deciding if it's worth upgrading. I would be afraid to allow a 5th grader to take a thousand dollar instrument to and from school if I had bought it!.
This cello is 3 stars in my book. It has been over 6 years since I became a cellist. A "filler" cello was just something to have around for when big performances come up. My first thought was to send this back, but I found that it would pose a lot of hassle. With respect to the finish of the cello, I am extremely disappointed. This cello literally looks as if someone spray painted it and then applied some furniture If that is the case, the surface of the cello looks rough as if there were some type of debris on it during the spray painting. It's just awful how this finished product looks. The following are the reasons why I gave more than two stars This is not a bad sound by any means. It was quite surprising how good it sounded. Can you be 100% certain it's Not at all. The bellows, however, are clearly audible. My general feeling about the sound of this instrument is very good. However, I find the fine tuners extremely hard Due to the immense amount of difficulty it is to turn them, it almost makes no sense to even have them on the cello in this case. In my case, the cello presented to me would not be something I would buy from this company again.
The cello is an excellent starter instrument.
There is no better deal than this.
I was very pleased with the packaging and how quickly it arrived. It is one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever seen. Although the pegs do not stay in place and need to be tuned constantly, they do not stay in place. Additionally, the strings that come with it do not seem to be of high You might be able to assemble it better if you visited the music store.
It's not an incredible deal at this price, but as a beginner- you get what you pay for Send a message- It's an instrument of this type I have to admit that I am The sound is great, and now that it has been around a few months, it even holds tuning. I only have one complaint the bow was really cheap, and every time I loosen and re-tie it, I lose three to four hairs Make it tight. That seems to be working for me now. The strap is just tightened and I leave it that way. If you do not plan on leaving it in a safe place, be sure to factor in the price of a stand.
The cello appears to be a good starter cello but the keys that tighten the strings become loose during use which (to me) makes it very difficult to keep it in tune. It's not a good idea to try the cello if you're fat. You (I) hold the body of the snake in your hands. Then this may be an appropriate exercise to begin with if you are not fat. There is a good price for the product.
There were a few issues with the product, including a broken handle and a The instrument I was to test was broken, so I did not have the opportunity to test it.
